Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is dropping hints about season 4 of Special Forces, and it appears there’s going to be some drama between her and Sister Wives star Kody Brown.
Chickenfry, 26, and Brown, 56, were both announced as part of the cast on Wednesday, August 6. The Barstool Sports personality took to Instagram that same day to answer fan questions, and one user asked if it was awkward filming with Brown.
“Let’s just say I didn’t know who he was while filming,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “And we didn’t necessarily ~get along well~ lmao you will see.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test puts celebrity contestants through grueling challenges that real United States Special Forces hopefuls must complete if they want to join the military. (Previous winners include season 1’s Hannah Brown and Carli Lloyd, season 2’s Nick Viall, Tyler Cameron and Erin Jackson and season 3’s Kayla Nicole and Brody Jenner.)
Brown is stepping out of the Sister Wives shadow to take on the challenge just months after saying his ex-wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Christine Brown, have painted him as a villain on the TLC reality hit. He has been married to fourth wife Robyn Brown since 2014.

“It’s not about being the villain,” he said in a May episode of Sister Wives: One-on-One. “It’s about being villainized.”
“My mouth runs fluidly. It’s easy to make fun of somebody who doesn’t have a filter.” he continued. “It’s hard to be accountable for things that you’re saying in a passionate moment.”
As for Chickenfry, her appearance on Special Forces comes amid a feud with ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan. Bryan, 29, posted a video of a Barstool Sports “Saturdays are for the Boys” flag on fire via his Instagram Story on Monday, August 4 as an apparent swipe at his ex, as Tyler Childers’ song “Bitin’ List” played in the background.
Chickenfry appeared to respond on Monday by posting “Nurse, he’s loose again” to her story.
During her Q&A on Wednesday, Chickenfry spoke more about her emotions while filming Special Forces, saying she cried “every day” and that viewers will see her experience “panic attack after panic attack.” It appeared, however, that she found the experience worthwhile, saying she learned “so much.”
“I learned how mentally strong I am and I now have such a deepened respect and love for our special forces military,” she wrote. “The things they sacrifice so we can sit on our couches at home are unfathomable.”
Special Forces season 4 premieres on Fox Thursday, September 25, at 9 p.m. ET.
