Guerdy Abraira is ready to share her biggest life lessons from life’s biggest hurdles.

Just in time for BravoCon 2025 weekend, The Real Housewives of Miami star, 47, has released her new memoir, titled GUERDYFY: From Trauma to Trophies. In addition to discussing her Haitian heritage, marriage to Russell Abraira and cancer journey, the reality star is also ready to reflect on some of her wildest experiences on Bravo.

“A lot of time passed between season 6 and the start of filming for season 7,” Guerdy wrote in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look at her book. “After spending the better part of the last few years in a bubble with just my boys at home, the idea of dinners, trips, and good old-fashioned girl talk felt like the fresh start I needed. What I didn’t see coming was that one of the girls in the cast, someone who had actually been a friend to me off camera, had been holding onto an issue I didn’t even realize existed.”

While she doesn’t name names in the chapter, viewers will sense she’s talking about costar Julia Lemigova.

The Real Housewives of Miami star Julia Lemigova is sharing her perspective on why her friendship with costar Adriana de Moura deteriorated. Julia, 53, caused a collective gasp during the first episode of the Bravo series’ season 7 reunion on Thursday, October 2. “I would like to say something that I think would bring clarity, […]

During season 7, Guerdy and Julia, 53, didn’t see eye-to-eye on many issues. Their feud resulted in Julia tossing a glass of water onto her former friend during a group sit-down.

“It was surreal, and I felt like I was in the twilight zone,” Guerdy wrote. “I remember feeling so alone in a room full of people. I had just started to get back on my feet; and in an instant, that light was drenched. The water hit my face before I even processed what was happening. It was humiliating and degrading.”

Although Julia apologized multiple times on the show for throwing a drink on her costar, Guerdy shared that the experience served as a symbol of “who I no longer needed to be.”

“It forced me to see how much I had spent my life putting others first. I knew something had to change,” she explained. “Even after the water-toss incident and all the hurt and humiliation that followed, I still had it in me to show up for others. That part of me hadn’t changed. I also learned that showing up for others shouldn’t mean abandoning myself in the process. I can still pour into other people’s cups, but only if I make sure mine isn’t running empty. It’s a balance and a daily adjustment.”

While Bravo has yet to officially announce plans for season 8 of The Real Housewives of Miami, Guerdy’s new personal goal is to “stay centered in order to protect me first.”

After reflecting on best-selling author Mel Robbins’ “Let Them” theory, Guerdy shifted her mindset when she filmed the season 7 reunion, which aired in October.

As viewers witnessed, Guerdy wasn’t so quick to completely forgive Julia.

“If I were to apply the ‘Let Them’ theory and allow them to be selective about which wrongdoing they wanted to apologize for, in this case, just the water toss, then I came up with a theory of my own: the ‘Let Me’ theory,” she wrote in her book. “Let me withhold forgiveness until it’s earned. Let them rewrite their version of events, and let me rest knowing the truth doesn’t need defending any longer. Let me choose what’s good for me.”

Guerdy’s experience on The Real Housewives of Miami is only a small portion of the reality star’s memoir.
