OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue is at the center of a new debate within the industry: Where should creators draw the line with stunts?

Blue, 26, recently made headlines when she shared a video where she claimed she’d been arrested and seemingly staged a fake wedding with a fan — both of which are allegedly part of promotional campaigns. Blue also claimed that she would be hosting a “petting zoo” event on June 15 where she plans to sleep with 2,000 men in one day, thus breaking her own record.

While some creators have praised Blue for her marketing strategies, others have not been on the same page.

Sophie Rain, for one, came down against Blue in a statement shared with Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 10, claiming that the U.K. star’s stunts are “no longer women empowerment.”

OnlyFans influencer Bonnie Blue claims that she’s broken the world record for having sex with the most men in a time space of 12 hours. Blue, who hails from England, allegedly slept with 1,057 people within a 12-hour period over the weekend, her publicist told The Sun in a story published on Monday, January 13.  […]

“It’s shock value and she’s making a joke out of all of us,” Rain, 20, said. “We built this space to take control of our bodies and make money on our terms, not to fake pregnancies, marriages and throw cake at people in public.”

Rain claimed that brands don’t take OnlyFans stars “seriously anymore,” noting the stunts are damaging the credibility of creators who rely on the platform.

“I’m tired of having to explain that not all of us are doing circus acts for clicks,” Rain said. “I would really like to know who is running her clown show. There are thousands of women making real money and supporting themselves through this.”

After news broke of Rain’s comments, fellow creator Camilla Araujo reposted one outlet’s article about the remarks and shared a similar sentiment.

“I will personally send Bonnie Blue 2 million dollars if she comes on my podcast and officially puts an end to her insane sex stunts,” Araujo, 23, wrote via X on Thursday, June 12.

Us Weekly reached out to Blue for comment.

Araujo admitted to Us that she knows the offer sounds “wild” but said she’s “tired of the mess.”

“There’s room for all of us on OnlyFans, but when someone turns it into a circus act, it cheapens the entire platform,” Araujo said in a statement. “This isn’t about hate — it’s about legacy. I want people to see that women in this industry can build empires with class, not chaos. Bonnie has potential, but she’s throwing it away for shock value.”
