Kendrick Lamar is bringing back bootcut jeans.
Lamar, 37, rocked a pair of Celine denim pants while performing in the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9. His light wash jeans featured a fit-and-flare silhouette equipped with an extra-long leg that dragged underneath his black-and-white Nike sneakers.
Styled by Taylor McNeill, Lamar paired the pants with a custom Martine Rose “Gloria” leather jacket, referencing his hit with SZA, and a diamond “a” necklace, which experts estimated to cost $400,000. The jewelry was seemingly also a nod to his Drake-inspired diss track “Not Like Us,” in which he raps, “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor.”
Lamar’s bell bottoms went viral after his performance, with fans wondering where he got the pants in hopes they too could purchase a pair.

“Whoever put kendrick lamar in those jeans needs a RAISE,” one fan wrote via X. “The way his thighs and butt looked like in it OH MY LORD.” Another person begged more men to wear the look, writing, “Make this more a thing. I think they look great and it’s masculine.”
Lamar isn’t the only star who commanded attention in denim at the Super Bowl. Pete Davidson, Miles Teller, Paige DeSorbo, influencer Halley Kate and Taylor Swift all wore the textile too.
Take Swift, 35, for example, who looked chic at the Super Bowl in a bedazzled pair of shorts and white bodysuit. During the game, eagle-eyed fans noticed the hem of her shorts were uneven and raw, making people wonder whether she took scissors to a pair of jeans and DIY’d the look herself.
“Did blondie cut the legs off of a $1600 pair of jeans?” one fan wrote via X, wondering whether the cutoffs were from Purple Brand. While others speculated that it was a different pair of jeans, they still agreed it looked like she cut the pants.
“She really did! Love them,” one social media user agreed. “Blondie’s style has always been about bold, unpredictable choices,” another wrote.
Swift was at the game to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs, who lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in a final score of 40-22.
