Rose Sombke shut down rumors of a possible appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.

Rose, 27, who self-eliminated during season 29 of The Bachelor in February, took to TikTok on Sunday, May 4, to address online rumors sparked by Steve Carbone, aka blogger Reality Steve.

Setting up her TikTok response with the text, “PSA after waking up to videos and screenshots saying I’m going on paradise,” Rose told fans that she had a message for “Reality Steve” after the blogger allegedly claimed she recently quit her job to make time for an all-new reality TV stint.

“I’m sorry you got it so wrong. I quit my job ‘cause I wanted to. Not ‘cause I’m going on Paradise,” Rose said in the video. “I need water.”

The nurse opted to eliminate herself from the quest to steal Grant Ellis’ heart during week four of The Bachelor after a dramatic turn of events with Carolina Quizano. During week three of the reality series, Rose told Carolina, 28, that Grant said he was thinking of Rose during his solo dance with Carolina on a group date. Grant later denied that was what he meant, but the damage had been done as Carolina felt triggered and confronted Grant, tarnishing his relationship with Rose.

Rose ultimately took herself out of the running in February, telling Grant, 31, that she was leaving ahead of that week’s rose ceremony.

“I’ve been fighting myself for a long time, like, fighting to stay and fighting through my own emotions. Everything that happened with Carolina invalidated so much about my relationship that was so good,” Rose told the cameras at the time. “This is definitely a tipping point for me.”

Grant went on to choose Juliana Pasquarosa in the Bachelor finale on March 24, and the pair are still currently engaged after Grant ditched Litia Garr for her.

Rose had been candid about how much she disliked her job via TikTok, sharing a post on March 30 that showed her looking defeated and included the video caption, “Omw to work on a Friday night when you have to work every other weekend, miss every event, birthdays, concerts, girls nights, holiday celebrations, what else am I missing.”

Rose added the caption, “the #FOMO is so real for #nightshift this truly is another type of heck #nursing.”
