Love Island USA had a season first when Ace Greene and Chelley Bissainthe visited The Hideaway — but didn’t have sex.
During the Friday, July 11, episode of the hit Peacock series, Ace told the guys what took place when he finally got some alone time with Chelley.
“We walked in and we got ready for the jacuzzi. I asked her to be exclusive with me,” he revealed. “It went well. I was just happy. I slept well last night but out of pure happiness.”
Ace clarified that he “didn’t fold” when but there were “obviously hands going everywhere.” Meanwhile the conversation between the girls offered more insight into Ace’s poem to Chelley, which she said felt like “he was proposing” to her.
The couple’s decision not to have sex comes as a surprise after other Love Island USA couples took any chance they could get in season 7 to get intimate. Bryan Arenales and Amaya Espinal were the other pair to visit The Hideaway and they spared no details.
“It felt like I lost my virginity,” Bryan told the guys before using the villa’s secret code word for sex. “The journey was beautiful.”
Bryan elaborated on how having sex made his connection with Amaya even stronger, adding, “I had a great night at the Hideaway with Amaya. I definitely feel closer to her. We took a step in our connection and it has been smiles ever since.”
On the other side of the villa, Amaya revealed she went on “two” journeys with Bryan that were “back to back.”
“We definitely really went on our journey and it was a great one,” she gushed about the “majestic and beautiful” experience.
While Love Island USA viewers know that “journey” is a code word the Islanders use for sex, the term “folded” is another one that has been brought up multiple times this season. Chris Seeley quietly revealed to Bryan earlier this season that he “folded” the night prior, adding, “I wasn’t going to tell anybody. [But] I couldn’t do it any more. I really tried [to hold out]. I just didn’t want to tell the other boys.”
Bryan said he “knew” something physical took place between Chris and Huda Mustafa. In a confessional, Chris elaborated on how having sex has helped his connection with Huda evolve.
“I feel like that was just a great step into our physical connection that we probably don’t show in front of everyone else,” he noted. “It definitely made us feel stronger in our physical connection. That is really all I can say about that.”
New episodes of Love Island USA will be released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock. The season 7 finale is set to air Sunday, July 13.
