Hallmark’s holiday season seems to be getting an earlier and earlier start every year — and no, fans aren’t complaining.
Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story was the first project announced in March, which will follow in the footsteps of 2024’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story by bringing another NFL team into the Hallmark Christmas spotlight.
Four months later, Hallmark Media celebrated “Christmas in July” and announced multiple movies and TV shows that will be part of the 16th annual “Countdown to Christmas” lineup later this year.
While the network didn’t reveal when “Countdown to Christmas” will begin (October 2024 marked the start last season), Hallmark did reveal that A Newport Christmas and a third Three Wise Men movie would be part of the seasonal content.

‘A Newport Christmas’
Stars: Ginna Claire Mason and Wes Brown
Logline: “Ella (Mason), a charitable and spirited socialite from 1905, is transplanted to 2025 after heading out on her schooner one night. In the modern day she encounters Nick (Brown), a sailor and local Newport historian, who must help Ella return to the past in time for the Christmas Eve ball before her existence is erased, changing the course of the town’s history. Complicating Ella and Nick’s already daunting task is the romance that’s blossoming between them.”

‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story’
Stars: Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario
Logline: “Pediatric doctor Morgan Quinn (Roden) and the Bills’ VP of Stadium Development Gabe DeLuca (Daddario) have always been close friends, but Gabe has always held a torch for her — a fact obvious to their families and everyone else who crosses their path. When Morgan learns from her Uncle Tommy (Joe Pantoliano) that someone anonymously helped her family get by after he was drafted more than 60 years ago — and that he continues to receive a Christmas gift each year to this day — she decides to find his benefactor and give her uncle a Christmas he’ll always remember.” Gabe will eventually step in and use his connections with the Bills “to pull off the surprise of a lifetime for Morgan and both their families that will make this a Christmas they’ll never forget.”

New ‘Three Wise Men’ Movie
Stars: Paul Campbell, Tyler Hynes and Andrew Walker
Logline: The plot of the third installment in the holiday franchise has yet to be revealed. All three main actors, who play the Brenner brothers, were confirmed in July to be part of the new movie.

‘Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas’
Stars: Mae Whitman, Mary McDonnel and Jane Seymour
Logline: “Kate (Whitman) lives in the quaint village of Blexford, England, next door to her father Mac (Nathaniel Parker), who is long divorced from Kate’s mother Delilah (McDonnell), a globe-trotting American always on an adventure. When not at work, Kate looks after Mac, who’s recovering from a motorbike accident.
