After her weight loss and skin removal surgeries, Tammy Slaton is happily showing off her new figure on social media.
On Sunday, July 20, Slaton, 38, shared a series of pictures to her TikTok account, which included a photo of her in a black, body-hugging shapewear one-piece that showed off her 500 pound weight loss.
Several fans took to the comments section to congratulate Slaton on her progress.
“Absolutely loving this era of Tammy,” one user wrote while another said, “Brought a tear to my eye. It’s been honestly so inspiring and amazing to watch your journey. Never been more prouder [sic] of a stranger in my life! Well done Tammy.”
Tammy has had quite a weight loss journey, documented on her and her sister Amy Slaton’s TLC series 1000-Lbs Sisters.
In April, Tammy, who underwent bariatric surgery in 2022, shared that she was down “500 pounds.”

“When I was at my heaviest, I was 700-plus pounds,” she shared during an episode of the TLC series. “Right now, I’m weighing in at 238.”
Tammy also compared her weight loss to her 37-year-old sister Amy’s own journey, who has lost 176 pounds.
“Everyone is telling me I look smaller than Amy,” she noted. “That’s kind of hard to believe. I can’t believe I did that.”
After hitting her 500 lb. weight loss mark, Tammy revealed in June that she finally underwent skin removal surgery earlier this year.
“I was just overwhelmed with excitement,” she gushed to People after recalling the moment she was approved for the surgery. “I worked really hard for this, and now it’s here. I’m pretty sure it was noticeable on my face how immediately shocked and then overwhelmed with joy I was.”

Aside from her weight loss, Tammy has also had quite an emotional journey with her personal relationships as well.
In July 2023, Tammy’s husband Caleb Willingham, who she met when they were both patients at a rehab facility in Ohio in 2021, died at the age of 40.
“Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much,” Tammy, who married Willingham in November 2022, shared via Instagram. “Thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️.”
Nearly one year after Willingham’s death, Tammy got candid about her sexuality.
“I was saying I was pansexual, but I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian,” she explained in a since-deleted January 2024 TikTok video. “Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they’re gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary [or] whatever. I’m just a lover.”
During an April episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, Tammy revealed that she had started dating Andrea Dalton. The couple announced their engagement only two months after going public with their relationship.
“Me and my fiancée. We just kind of chill at home,” Tammy said on an episode of the “A Creative Chaos” podcast in June, before showing off her diamond ring to the camera.
