According to official records, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office was called out to Scott, 57, and Kelley’s home on July 29 at 7:50 a.m. The report said the call was for officers to “keep the peace.” An unidentified woman called dispatch asking for them to come to the home in Park City, Utah, later that morning.

A Deputy met with the woman who said she was “concerned that someone was home and she wanted to retrieve her passport and other items.” The woman told the officer that there was no existing restraining order or protective order in place.

The officer said the woman attempted to gain access to the residence but she “was unable to gain access as all doors and entrances were locked.” He noted, “I observed her damage a screen on a window on the back deck of the residence as she attempted to open a window.”

The report said the woman attempted to call family members to obtain the code to the front door. “At one point, she had her brother on the phone and I spoke briefly with him,” the officer wrote. “Her brother informed me that [redacted] had signed an agreement that prohibited her access to the residence.”
