Exes Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are sending love to their son, Brayden, on his 10th birthday.
“To my oldest son Brayden … words can’t express how much I love you! I never thought I’d have a son similar to me in so many ways,” Tarek, 44, captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday, August 20. “Not only do we look the same but we are also wired the same! It is very clear that we are father and son.”
Tarek referenced their fishing trips and playing video games in the captions.
“This is such a big birthday because you are 10 and are finally in double digits!! I’m so excited for the upcoming adventures as our years go on and you get bigger, older, and stronger,” he concluded. “Until that happens, you are still daddy‘s little boy. I love you so much so from me and the rest of the world happy birthday!!!”
Tarek shared a series of photos of him and Brayden, even including one image with Christina, 42. Tarek’s wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, was also included in his photo dump.
Christina took to her own Instagram with a sweet tribute of her own.
“Happy 10th birthday to our boy. Sweet, feisty, kind, smart, sensitive and spiritual. My biggest supporter — he has his mama’s back,” she wrote on Wednesday. “He gives the biggest hugs and when he likes you, you know it. I love our bond, our dates, our laughs & our love for each other. Proud mama.”
Tarek and Christina, who were married from 2006 to 2016, are also the parents of daughter Taylor, 14. Following their split, Christina moved on with Ant Anstead, whom she married in 2018. They welcomed son Hudson, 5, before splitting in 2020. She kicked off a relationship with Joshua Hall in 2021 and they were married by April 2022. Christina and Joshua, 44, filed for divorce in July 2024. Christina has since moved on with new boyfriend Christopher LaRocca.
Tarek, meanwhile, married Heather in October 2021 and they share son Tristan, 2. The couple teamed up with Heather for their HGTV show The Flip Off, which created a bond between them. Tarek even offered his opinion on Christina’s new relationship during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly earlier this year.
“The double dates are actually fun,” Tarek told Us in April. “The new guy she’s dating, I really like him. He’s really nice.”
