TikTok star Jennifer Nicole Rivas has reportedly died. She was 21.

The influencer was found “lifeless” in her home on Wednesday, October 1, Honduran news channel HCH Televisión Digital reported.

Rivas had epilepsy, which her family believes played a role in her death, local news outlets reported. She was on permanent medication for the condition, per HCH Televisión Digital.

Rivas presented on Honudran channel CHTV and had amassed more than 100,000 followers on TikTok. In the wake of her death, Honduran podcast “El Showsero TV” hosted by YouTuber Gazù Bbx shared a statement honoring the influencer.

“With deep sorrow, from ‘El Showsero TV’ and the whole team of ‘El Eventazo: Pickle War,’ we mourn the irreparable loss of our beloved participant Jennifer Rivas, from the Los del Barrio team 🕊️,” the message read, translated to English.

The statement continued, “A person full of energy and enthusiasm who left a mark on every moment shared. Our deepest condolences to her family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time. 🫂.”

Several fans took to the comments section to pay tribute to Rivas. “Rest in peace 😔🕊️,” one user wrote, while another added, “How sad, may God comfort the pain of her loved ones 🙏🏼.”

News of Rivas’ death came at the same time the influencer community mourned the loss of content creator Luanna Araújo. Araújo, fiancé Korbinian Andreas Dengler and their friend Herbson Nunes Negrão were reportedly killed on her 29th birthday in a three-way highway collision.

The trio were traveling in a car on September 26 when the vehicle collided with two other trucks on a Brazil highway around 1:20 a.m., Brazilian news outlet g1 reported.

One of the truck drivers was recovered from the wreckage by the fire department and rushed to a hospital under critical condition, the outlet reported. The other driver, meanwhile, reportedly sustained minor injuries.

The incident is reportedly being investigated by authorities. A statement was shared in Araújo’s honor by Colégio Santa Sofia.

“Colégio Santa Sofia expresses its deepest condolences for the passing of Luanna Araújo, a former student of our institution and daughter of our beloved sports coordinator, Cristiano Melo,” the statement read via Instagram, translated from Portuguese. “We join in prayer, asking God to comfort the hearts of the family and all who shared in Luanna’s life and friendship. In this time of grief, we reaffirm our solidarity and closeness to Cristiano and his family, in the hope of faith and the certainty of eternal life.”

The comments section of the post was full of users sharing their condolences. “My condolences to the whole family 🖤 😢,” one user wrote, while another added, “My condolences to all the families and friends who lost loved ones in this tragedy. May God comfort and give strength to the bereaved hearts. 🖤🙏🏻.”

One year prior, Araújo celebrated her birthday with a series of photos. “🥳🎉Starting another cycle with a lot of gratitude to God for all the lessons and opportunities thus far! 🙏🏼❤️Bring on a new chapter of amazing stories! ✨,” she captioned the Instagram post at the time.
