Cara Delevingne faced an unexpected holdup at the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week, being forced to wait in line after not being recognized by staff.

The 33-year-old model, dressed in a sleek black “Come Together” tank top, jeans with lace-up leather chap panels and oversized sunglasses, appeared frustrated as she stood with her hands on her hips behind a group of guests in a video from the Tuesday, September 30, event that is now gaining traction on TikTok.

After patiently waiting for a few moments, she eventually moved toward the entrance where a woman was seeking QR codes from attendees.

“OK, I’m just going to walk in, this is getting crazy,” Delevingne said, before asking, “Can I just go in?”

Paris Fashion Week is in full swing, bringing heaps of sultry and classy looks. However, her attempt to bypass the line was met with resistance when the staffer asked for a QR code. “She doesn’t have one,” a member of her team seemingly clarified, as Delevingne added, “This is just crazy.”

It wasn’t until she lifted her sunglasses that she was identified by the staffer, who apologized and finally granted her access to walk in the venue.

“Is that OK? Thank you,” Delevingne said as she rushed in to make her entry.

Stella, the daughter of Beatles legend Paul McCartney, unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection during her latest show.

Fans sounded off on social media after seeing the TikTok clip of Delevingne going viral.

“She was literally the FACE of a whole brand and she couldn’t be let in? This seems disorganized. She should have access in a different way as well,” one person commented.

When it comes to fashion risks, Paris Jackson doesn’t just toe the line — she struts right past it. The 27-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson went braless in a sheer, long-sleeved mesh top that was see-through, revealing her multiple colorful tattoos underneath for the 72 Magazine launch party. She paired her black shirt […]

“I think she’s annoyed because by being forced to stand in line, she’s essentially just having paparazzi directly in her face for 10 mins versus going in and sitting down,” a second social media user speculated. “She’s not an influencer or press, she was a front row guest and clearly should have been ushered in right away without all this drama,” a third person replied.

Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Delevingne and McCartney’s fashion label for comment.

Prior to her front row appearance, Delevingne rocked the runway for L’Oréal during Paris Fashion Week, wearing a daring sheer black lace gown designed by Georges Chakra.

The Suicide Squad actress was announced to be an official global brand ambassador for L’Oréal Paris in September 2024, following which she spoke out about her evolving beauty philosophy and how she experimented with her personal style over the years.

“You really have to get to know yourself, because if you understand who you are and who you aren’t, there isn’t a world in which self-love won’t exist in some way,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “It’s about acceptance and living in pride and honesty and truly finding out who you are. It takes time and experimenting – trial and error and mistakes – but I think that’s the fun part about it.”
