North West is exploring different styles and having fun with it.

North, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, opened up about wearing fake facial piercing stickers while posing on the cover of Dazed.

“All I want is blue hair and piercings,” she said in her interview published on Monday, August 24, noting that her neon mane was inspired by the Japanese virtual pop star Hatsune Miku. “That’s just my twin for real,” she added.

North went on to say that her favorite feature of Hatsune is “her blue twin tails, of course.”

“That’s always the inspo. Blue hair or nothing? Maybe I’ll do black in it one day,” she added.

When it comes to piercings, North right now rocks a mix of faux and real ones. “They just make you your full self,” she said of the jewelry. One piercing that she’s not yet permitted to get is a bridge piercing, which runs through the skin on your upper nose between the eyes.

“I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I’m not allowed,” she shared.

Kim, 45, who was present for the shoot, previously shut down critics of her daughter’s edgy sense of style during a January episode of Khloé Kardashian’s “Khloé in Wonderland” podcast.

“I’m not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it,” she said. “Northie actually has a lot of rules, [but] the one area is I do let her express herself and I let her do that. I love her for that.”

She noted that North has been wearing a “fake septum ring” since she was in the first grade.

In November 2025, Kim opened up about the time North hit back at haters during an episode of Complex’s “GOAT Talk” YouTube series.

Kim Kardashian delivered an emphatic response to critics of her 12-year-old daughter, North West, experimenting with fake piercings and face tattoos on her social media. “This is such a non-issue,” Kardashian, 45, clapped back at critics on the joint TikTok account she shares with her daughter on Saturday, October 25. Earlier this week, North revealed […]

“Her and her girlfriends, they love doing costumes, they love doing looks, and so, it’s Halloween season, so they put on fake tattoos on their face, fake piercings, they all had their colored hair,” Kardashian explained. “They looked like an opium Powerpuff Girls … [that’s] what they were going for.”

She continued, “[North] was like, ‘I don’t get it. It’s a Halloween costume. It’s all fake.’ So, she takes my phone, and she writes back to a comment, and she goes, ‘This is such a non-issue.’ Then online, it was like, ‘Kim defends North to the end on this look.’”

Kardashian quipped that North had a “good clapback.”
