A Florida woman armed with a pink and black Glock tracked down her boyfriend she suspected of cheating on her and shot his alleged mistress through a car window, according to deputies.

Katherine Kelly later told investigators she wanted to “make a point” during the Saturday, October 24, shooting in Port St. John after initially claiming she had opened fire in “self-defense,” according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

When asked whether she felt guilty, Kelly, 24, said she believed in “karma,” as the other woman “should have known” her boyfriend was in a relationship, per an affidavit viewed by Us.

The woman was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to her left shoulder, according to the affidavit.

The woman Kelly allegedly shot told investigators that Kelly’s boyfriend had texted her asking whether she wanted to “hang out” early Saturday morning before the shooting, according to the affidavit.

After Kelly’s boyfriend picked the woman up from her home in a Volkswagen vehicle, he drove with her to an open field near his friend’s house, the affidavit states.

The car allegedly belonged to Kelly, who “took deliberate and purposeful steps” to track the pair down “by monitoring [her boyfriend’s] location,” the affidavit reads.

Kelly took an Uber ride to their location and texted her boyfriend, warning “she was going to shoot someone,” according to deputies.

Kelly ultimately arrived and approached the car, pulled the Glock out of her purse and fired one shot, striking the other woman through the car’s passenger window, according to the sheriff’s office.
