Before filming season 11 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Dr. Wendy Osefo thought long and hard about whether it was the right decision to come back.

“I’ve been on the show seven seasons, and I feel like I’ve had that [thought] a few times. But this time, it was a resounding, ‘Do I even want to go back? Do I even want to put myself in this position?’” Wendy, 42, exclusively shared with Us on Wednesday, November 4. “I think if it was left up to me, my answer would have been no. But the people around me and my loved ones were like, ‘No, your story doesn’t end here,’ and so I came back.”

One family member who was more than supportive of having Wendy remain on reality TV was her husband, Eddie Osefo.

The Tears of My Mother author said he “has been a champion for me always.” It was no different when she weighed her future with the Bravo reality show.

“He’s always a cheerleader for me, and naturally, as my husband, I spoke with him and said, ‘What do you think? Should I go back?’” Wendy recalled. “He says, ‘Yeah, I definitely think you should go back. I think that your story does not end here, and just see it through.’”

Season 11 of RHOP has already proven to be a unique experience for Wendy and Eddie, 42. During the October 11 premiere, the pair opened up about the “darkest times” in their marriage.

Their struggles come after the pair were indicted by a grand jury on charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and a false statement to a police officer.

Both parties have denied any wrongdoing, with a rep for the couple previously telling Us, “The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court.” (Their trial is set to begin in January 2027.)

When Eddie advised his wife to “see it through,” Wendy couldn’t help but remember that the phrase is a common expression used in their household.

“When [the kids are] playing sports … it’s always a conversation of like, ‘Should I do this team? Should I do this game?’ And we always say, ‘See it through,’” Wendy explained. “To hear your husband use the same phrase that you use on your children, it sort of makes you toughen up because it’s like, if I say this to the kids, I have to be able to receive it, so see it through.”

As season 11 continues to air Sunday nights on Bravo, Wendy has found herself witnessing a whole lot of drama outside of her own life. As Karen Huger struggles with her marriage to Ray Huger, Tia Glover is coping with the fact that her husband, Rob Glover, was on dating apps.
