What Happened in ‘Andor’ Season 2, Episodes 4-6?
The series skipped ahead another year at the beginning of episode 4. Cassian and Bix (Adria Arjona) are reunited as lovers and working together as operatives for Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård). However, Bix has been haunted by her torture at the hands of Dr. Gorst (Joshua James) and Cassian is becoming increasingly unhappy with Luthen’s ruthless approach to the rebellion, especially as it pertains to Bix.
Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) was seemingly transferred to Ghorman in a setback to his career and his relationship with Dedra Meero (Denise Gough). But he was actually there to present himself as a sympathetic source to the anti-Empire faction as part of Dedra’s plan to goad them into becoming rebels. Luthen sent Cassian to assess the would-be rebels, but he refused to sign off on their plan of attack. Undeterred, Luthen sent former lovers Vel Sartha (Faye Marsay) and Cinta Kaz (Varada Sethu) to oversee the first act of armed rebellion on Ghorman.
While Vel and Cinta worked out their differences and resumed their relationship, they also discovered that Cassian was right about the Ghorman rebels. During the heist, one of the younger rebels disobeyed orders and brought a weapon that discharged during a struggle. Cinta was killed, and the rebels escaped, but only because the Empire let them run. Back on Coruscant, Luthan and his right-hand woman, Kleya Marki (Elizabeth Dulau), had to retrieve a bug they planted during a high-profile party. Meanwhile, Bix got her revenge on Gorst by leaving him in his own torture device before she and Cassian blew up his office and killed him.
Is There a Trailer for ‘Andor’ Season 2?
There isn’t a brand-new trailer, but The World of Andor featurette includes a handful of scenes that haven’t happened in the show yet. From what we can discern from the footage, Ghorman is about to become a major front in the rebellion.
That may be why Cassian has returned to Ghorman. But the rebels don’t realize that they’re playing into the Empire’s hands. The Imperials want to escalate tensions on Ghorman as a pretense to heighten security, which will allow them to steal the planet’s natural resources.
