Andy Cohen reunited with some Bravolebrity favorites at the NephCure Red Carpet Gala, an event meant to spread awareness to those affected by rare kidney diseases.

“Find a cure. That’s it. That’s the ultimate goal by donating to NephCure. More money,” Cohen, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly at the event on Wednesday, October 30.

Cohen was joined at the event by fellow Bravo stars Dorinda Medley, Dolores Catania, Heather and Terry Dubrow, Kyle Cooke and Kathy Hilton.

When Us caught up with Terry, 66, he couldn’t help but gush about how his wife, The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Heather, “inspires” him to advocate for his own health.

“My wife, as you may or may not know, is the one who identified that I had a significant cardiovascular issue and a mini stroke,” Terry — who had a major health scare in 2023 — explained to Us. “She’s the reason I’m standing here today.”

It’s been four years since Medley was on The Real Housewives of New York City, but she would never say “no” to going back on the show.

“Andy Cohen was just here. I don’t answer those questions,” she joked. “You know we don’t answer those questions. The boss man answers those questions. You’re just talking to a lowly talent.”

BravoCon 2023 kicked off in Las Vegas on Friday, November 3, with a panel featuring the big boss himself: Andy Cohen. Cohen, 55, joined friend Jeff Lewis for a chat about Bravo stars past and present and the future of various Real Housewives franchises. As he often does, Andy refused to choose just one Housewife […]

“Because my mother has taught me so much about taking care of yourself. Because if you don’t take care of yourself, then you can’t help other people,” she shared with Us. “And that is always my motivation. I know a lot of people need me, and I need to be healthy to take care of them.”

Catania tries to take her message to heart, especially when it comes to living her life in the spotlight.

“As far as fame, I just feel like, if you are in our position, in the public eye, you have a responsibility,” Catania explained, noting that Medley is a “true example” of how you should deal with fame. “So you owe it to yourself and the people that follow you to do the right thing. And to use your platform for good, not for bad, not for hurting other people, not for getting people back.”

Heather and her husband, who were first introduced on RHOC in 2012, wore matching black ensembles at the NephCure event on Wednesday night.

While Terry has a personal connection to kidney disorder being that his father suffered from polycystic kidney disease, he noted that he wants to “see a lot of money” go into research and finding a cure.

“There’s a lot of areas of medicine where you need to focus, but I’m very focused right now on treating obesity, and there are really some great new cures for obesity, and obesity is the number one risk factor for all forms of mortality and diseases, not the least of which is kidney disease,” he added. “So there’s any kind of treatment for obesity that can further the cure for kidney disorders, I’m all in.”

Kyle Cooke

Cooke dressed up for the NephCure event in a gray suit with a light pink shirt. The Summer House star told Us that he still feels like “the same guy” since becoming famous.

“I like to consider myself a D-list, maybe F-list celebrity. Let’s go with F-list,” he joked. “I’ve always been out there, an extroverted, big, loud personality. I don’t really think I’ve changed at all, but I’ve seen people change, and I’m like, ‘Oh, I don’t want that to happen to me.’”

Cooke said staying busy also helps him stay his authentic self.

“I like to say I film in my spare time. I’m always busy with Loverboy,” Cooke shared, referring to his company. “I just started DJing to supplement our Loverboy parties. I don’t let the Internet and everything that comes with it cloud my vision; I try to just stay busy.”

Kathy Hilton

Hilton, who regularly appears on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, wore a long sleeve black dress with matching pumps for the NephCure event. The Bravo star revealed that she doesn’t think any moments are “manufactured” on RHOBH.

“No one’s ever whispered in my ear to tell me what to say or do,” she told Us.

Hilton added that she believes that fans can “see through everything.”

“So if somebody’s not being genuine [they] lose respect for them and they lose their fan base,” she explained. “That’s a very loyal group of fans, the Bravo fans. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
