Andy Cohen is speaking out after Sarah Michelle Gellar shared her honest assessment of the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During an interview with SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio earlier this month, Gellar, 48, was asked whether she was “enjoying” season 15 of the Bravo reality show, executive produced by Cohen. “No,” was her frank response.
“I think it’s boring,” the Ready or Not 2: Here I Come actress elaborated, noting that she does “like the cast” despite finding the current season “slow.”
“It’s just picking up now,” she said.
Gellar’s comments apparently came up on Cohen’s Instagram feed, and he wasn’t exactly pleased — although not necessarily because of the Buffy star’s remarks. Instead, he pointed out that the interview took place in his Radio Andy studio at SiriusXM headquarters. (SiriusXM is home to both Page Six Radio and Cohen’s dedicated radio channel.)

“I guess Page Six Radio interviewed Sarah Michelle Gellar. And it was in our studio, and then they post it and it’s like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ with all this Radio Andy signage everywhere,” Cohen said on a recent episode of his Andy Cohen Live radio show, per footage posted on social media. “And I go, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show.’ How about the door is locked when I leave? How’s that? Or maybe think twice about posting that all over social media where it says ‘Andy’ everywhere behind SMG.”
As for Gellar’s review of RHOBH season 15, he added, “She wrong, by the way.”
While the Buffy icon did indeed deem the current season of RHOBH “boring,” she praised certain cast members.

“I love Rachel [Zoe]. I love Boz [St. John],” she said during her Page Six Radio appearance. “I live for Kathy [Hilton] and Jen [Tilly]. I want a Jen Tilly-Kathy Hilton spinoff.”
Gellar had more of a mixed response to newcomer Amanda Frances, whom one of the cohosts described as “polarizing” to viewers.
“I don’t think she’s polarizing. I just don’t think anyone enjoys her,” Gellar bluntly responded. “I want to clarify, like, I’m sure she’s a very lovely person. If you choose to go on this show, then you have to be ready to open yourself up and be honest. And I feel like, I don’t know… I feel like she just missed that memo.”
One of the cohosts brought up that Frances seemed averse to conflict, which, as viewers know, is kind of a staple on the Real Housewives franchise.
Gellar agreed, saying, “Like, have you ever watched an episode?”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and next day on Peacock.
