Spring has sprung, so Us turned to world-renowned astrologer Susan Miller to get the forecast for the earth sign Taurus.
For one, Janet Jackson (May 16, 1966) has Jupiter — the giver of gifts and luck — in Cancer, in the house of hopes and wishes. “She was born to be successful,” Miller says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now.
As Jupiter moves toward Jackson’s sun in her progressed chart, 2025 is sure to be a “special” year. “She may take a different, innovative path on music,” Miller adds.
Fellow musician Kelly Clarkson (April 24, 1982) is a triple Taurus, so it’s no surprise she’s a wonderful singer. “Taurus is the sign of the throat,” Miller says. With a full moon in her progressed chart — “Everything has come to fruition” — the talk show host will face big decisions. According to Miller, “Time to step back and drop new blueprints.”
Sabrina Carpenter (May 11, 1999) was born with Mars in the house of creativity, so “she’s happiest when she’s using her imagination,” shares Miller, who predicts the singer is quietly embarking on an exciting new chapter in her career. “She’ll have to use discipline and hard work — but she’s up to it,” Miller tells Us.
Scroll on for a breakdown of Miller’s predictions for Tauruses this year, from career moves to love lives:
What Tauruses Are Really Like
Those born between April 20 and May 20 are typically sensuous, financially savvy and reflective. Ruled by Venus and represented by the bull, the reliable sign has a reputation for being the go-to for comfort and wise words in times of need. “They’re realistic and practical,” says Miller, who notes Tauruses also tend to have killer pipes. “They are known to have beautiful voices.”
Work and Career
Embrace change when it involves your profession, says Miller, who points to a powerful Pluto entering Taurus’ 10th house — which represents honors, awards, achievement — and remaining there for the next two decades. “They will get an opportunity to move ahead in the new digital age,” the astrologer tells Us. Accepting the challenge can and will “make them very successful.”
Relationships
Connections will come to a crossroads this fall. September 7 “will be a decision point in love or friendship” for Tauruses, who must “decide [whether] to stay or go.” The September 21 solar eclipse will usher in new beginnings, too. “See who comes into your life after,” Miller says. “It’s a new moon and the Sept. 21 eclipse is in Virgo, the house of true love.” Miller also says to carve out time for loved ones: No matter what happens, “family will be where their heart is.”
What to Watch For
With Jupiter leaving Taurus’ house of money, Miller recommends being weary of precarious opportunities involving fiscal matters. “Stay stable and don’t get risky,” she advises. “[Stick] with the tried and true, save up and listen to your financial advisor.” Looking to move or eager to revamp your space? Wait until the time between summer 2026 and summer 2027. “That’s the best year in a decade for Taurus to find a dream home, remodel or buy new furniture,” Miller tells Us.
A Tale of Two Georges

George Clooney (May 6, 1961) and George Lopez (April 23, 1961) don’t just share a name — they also both have Pisces rising. “People who are Pisces or have Pisces rising are currently renovating or moving — or want to!” says Miller. Clooney is in NYC for his Broadway debut, but with his progressed Jupiter in his ninth house of foreign people, “Europe is the right place for him,” says Miller. As for Lopez — transiting Jupiter moving into his house of home and family — the comedian finds fulfillment starring with daughter Mayan in Lopez vs. Lopez. “His chart shows doing things with family is very heartwarming,” Miller adds.
