Bob the Drag Queen earned a reputation for targeting Housewives during his time on The Traitors, but there’s at least one Bravo alum he’d like to see on season 4.
“If there is one Housewife I want to see on this show, get NeNe Leakes on The Traitors,” Bob, 38, exclusively told Us Weekly while discussing his new book, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert. “I was hoping with every fiber of my being that she would be on my season.”
The We’re Here star would also like to see a few of his fellow RuPaul’s Drag Race alums on the series.
“Ts Madison would be amazing,” Bob said of the occasional Drag Race judge before naming two former contestants. “Monét X Change would be fantastic on the show. Plane Jane … would be really phenomenal on the show as well.”
Bob became the second Drag Race alum to compete on The Traitors after Peppermint appeared on season 2. Peppermint, a Faithful, was the first contestant banished on her season. Bob, meanwhile, competed as a Traitor but went home in episode 4 after he was banished.
Some Bravo fans are still mad at him for leading the charge against The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley, who was murdered in the season 3 premiere thanks in large part to Bob. According to the Drag Race champion, however, he and Dorinda, 60, are on good terms now.

“I texted her first, actually,” Bob told Us, referring to the fact that she said the two exchanged numbers after the Traitors reunion. “I texted her first before she had a chance to. I saw online that she said that she thought about texting me, but she didn’t. And I said, ‘I’ll be the one to go ahead and crack that egg.’ And it was a really sweet exchange, actually. I like Dorinda — and I know who she is now!”
Bob went on to note that he “would love to” hang out with Dorinda if they ever end up on the same coast. He also planned to invite her to the release party for his new book, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert, which hit shelves Tuesday, March 25.
While some fans may be surprised that Bob wrote a novel rather than a memoir, the reality star says the decision was a no-brainer.
“No one believes when I say this, my life’s not that interesting,” he joked to Us. “I don’t do a lot outside of work. Everything I do is already online. I write my jokes, I go home and I play Fortnite, and I just don’t think that would make a good book. Like, what, I’m gonna write about my Victory Royale?”
Instead, Bob imagined a world where historical figures come back to life, including Harriet Tubman, who enlists narrator Darnell to help her produce a hip-hop album about her life. Having been interested in Tubman since childhood, Bob knew right away that he wanted to center his book around her.
“Harriet Tubman’s life is beyond words,” he told Us. “You would have to write a thousand books to get close. She lived to be almost 100. She was 91 years old when she passed. First of all, she was 4-foot-11. She was 4-foot-11! She carried a pistol with her on all of her journeys. And one of those old pistols, not one that would put a little hole. This pistol would knock your whole shoulder off if she shot you with it, you know what I mean? She was a spy and a scout for the U.S. military. She led a military mission.”
Asked to name which historical figures he’d like to have dinner with, Bob of course chose Tubman, though he noted he’d be “intimidated” — and they might have some differences.
“She’s very religious,” he said. “I’m not at all. If anyone watched Traitors, you’ll know that.”
Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert is out now. Both the hardcover and the audiobook (featuring two original songs) are available at readthedragqueen.com.
