Brian Austin Green is keeping things transparent when it comes to sharing an apparent DM from Machine Gun Kelly about their shared ex Megan Fox.
Green, 51, took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 27, and — in a wild turn of events — uploaded a screenshot of what appeared to be his DMs with MGK, 34, on the social media platform.
“Stop asking when our child is gonna be born. You the FEDS,” MGK appeared to message Green about his impending baby with Fox, 38. “Quit calling TMZ and focus on that apology you owe me for speaking on my name in public.”
The message continued, “You chose the wrong one to f— with mr child actor. Go back to cereal commercials.”
MGK’s apparent message to Green was timestamped 6:09 a.m. on Thursday. (Us Weekly has reached out to MGK’s team for comment.)
Green, who shares three children with ex-wife Fox, poked fun at the rapper’s vitriol in his caption.
“I didn’t know ‘child actor’ was something bad,” Green wrote. “Leo [DiCaprio], careful. He may be coming for you next.”
This is not the first time Green has publicly taken issue with MGK (whose real name is Colson Baker). The men have a contentious past thanks to their respective romantic histories with Fox.
Green was married to Fox from 2010 to 2021. They share kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8. Fox moved on with MGK shortly thereafter and they were engaged by 2022. In November 2024, Fox announced that she and MGK were expecting their first baby together after she previously experienced a pregnancy loss. (MGK is also dad to 15-year-old daughter Casie, whom he welcomed in a previous relationship.)

Us Weekly confirmed in December 2024 that MGK and Fox had broken up “several times” amid her pregnancy announcement. (Green told MGK to “grow up” during an interview with TMZ after news of his and Fox’s breakup went public. Green also called MGK out in a separate Instagram Story post in February.)
Green exclusively offered Us an update on how Fox was coping with the split last month. The actor noted that she’s navigating “an incredibly tough time” while pregnant.
“She’s an amazing mother, though. She loves her kids,” Green added. “We’re so excited for the new one to be born.”
Green and Fox have had an amicable coparenting relationship in the years following their divorce. (Green is currently engaged to Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess. The couple welcomed son Zane in June 2022. He is also the father to Kassius, 23, whom he shares with ex Vanessa Marcil.)
“I think as parents, we forget that we are raising future adults. We’re not just raising the kids that we have,” Green also told Us. “Eventually, they’re going to grow up and they’re going to move out, and they’re either going to be positive members of society or they’re not. A lot of that is based on the choices you make.”
