Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley was spotted kissing a mystery man at the 2025 US Open on Monday, September 1.
Ashley, 30, was photographed smooching the mystery suitor while taking in Jannik Sinner’s match against Alexander Bublik at Arthur Ashe Stadium, part of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens, New York.
The actress kept her look casual in a light brown sweatshirt featuring a bear and distressed jeans. Her companion, meanwhile, wore a white shirt with a navy blue sweater around his shoulders and tinted sunglasses.
The sighting comes just three weeks after the Sex Education actress was spotted taking a walk in New York City with Dawson’s Creek alum Joshua Jackson, 47.
Ashley was seen wearing a mint green top with lace detailing and spaghetti straps during the August 9 stroll. She wore a grayed snakeskin-printed skirt and white sneakers, completing her look with a lime green Prada tote bag. Jackson wore a white T-shirt and gray pants with Nike sneakers.
Jackson settled his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith, 38, in May and was most recently linked to Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, however, the 12 Years a Slave actress confirmed they had split in October 2024.
Ashley, meanwhile, confirmed her breakup from Constantin “Tino” Klein during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour in February.
“It’s kind of ironic [that] I’m promoting a rom-com and as of January this year, I’ve been entering my single era,” Ashley said while on the promotional rounds for her movie Picture This.
In March, the actress told People that she was happily single and not looking to jump into another relationship just yet.

“It’s about self-growth, and I am looking for someone who is so confident in themselves and is really ready to have an open heart in the same way I do. And I think that’s hard to find,” she said.
“I’m not in a rush. It can be easy to jump into the next thing immediately, which is something that I am choosing not to do,” she added. “I want to take my time to find the right person for me and to work on myself — to grow, and to focus on my work.”
