Cardi B had a blunt response for a reporter who asked if she was pregnant with her fourth child amid her assault lawsuit.

The rapper, 32, gave photographers the middle finger while she was entering the courthouse where her civil trial is taking place in Alhambra, California, on Tuesday, September 2. The gesture was in response to someone asking her to confirm or deny recent pregnancy rumors.

Later, when she was exiting the courthouse, Cardi (real name: Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) threw a pen at a reporter who asked about a possible pregnancy, according to video footage obtained by TMZ.

“Insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time. Do you foresee any fraternity issues with [Cardi’s boyfriend] Stefon Diggs?” the reporter asked.

Cardi responded, “I don’t care. You’re disrespectful, don’t do that. Do you see women asking those type of questions to me? Why do you feel, as a man, [that] you get to ask me those type of questions? Act like you have some manners. And your mama taught you: respect women.”

Rumors that the “Bodak Yellow” rapper is expecting her fourth child began to circulate after she appeared in court last week to testify in the trial stemming from a 2020 assault lawsuit brought against her by security guard Emani Ellis.

Cardi previously denied the pregnancy speculation via an Instagram Live on August 21.

“‘Look 30 weeks pregnant’? No, you stupid bitch,” she responded to a fan who said that she had seemed out of breath during her court appearance, as seen in a clip of the Live shared via X. “I’m just f*** out of breath ’cause I have asthma … Stop f***ing being f***ing funny in this bitch before you get motherf***king blocked, bitch. Stupid a** comment, don’t put that s*** on me, bitch.”

However, Cardi fueled the rumors once more after the Live ended by writing on X, “But AM I?…” Along with the post, she shared a GIF of Tokyo Toni raising her eyebrows.

Cardi’s court appearances have gone viral several times over during her $24 million assault trial. Ellis claimed in her lawsuit that Cardi assaulted her in the hallway outside of a Beverly Hills medical office in 2018, alleging that the “I Like It” rapper cut her face with a fingernail, spat on her and used racial slurs during the alleged altercation, which she claims broke out because Cardi believed Ellis was taking a video of her on a cellphone.

Ellis accused Cardi of assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence and false imprisonment following the incident. She also claimed that Cardi “used her celebrity status” to get her fired from her job and was allegedly involved in destroying surveillance footage.

Cardi, who was four months pregnant with Kulture at the time of the alleged incident but had not yet publicly revealed her pregnancy, has denied all wrongdoing and claimed the plaintiff is only looking for a payout.

“I said, ‘F***, why are you recording me? Aren’t you supposed to be security?’” Cardi said during her testimony, maintaining that she never touched Ellis. “She’s trying to get money … because she’s suing me for $24 million. It was a verbal incident. She didn’t hit me. I didn’t hit her. There was no touching. So, to me, it wasn’t no incident.”
