Country star Carly Pearce seemingly has a new love to sing about.
“I guess this is what the kids call a ‘hard launch’ these days 🤭♥️,” Pearce, 35, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 25.
In the snap, Pearce was seen cuddling up to a mystery man as they smiled for a selfie during what appeared to be a low-key outing.
While Pearce has not further identified her apparent love interest or how they connected, several of her celebrity friends are happy to see her blossoming romance unfold.
“So happy for you!! 😍😍,” Becca Tilley commented, while Tigirlily Gold simply wrote, “LOVEEEEEEE😍😍😍😍😍.”
Kylie Morgan, for her part, added, “So damn happy for you, baby doll.”
This appears to be Pearce’s first romance since she was briefly romantically linked to her then-drummer, BC Taylor.
“I haven’t been linked to my drummer in over a year,” Pearce added in the comments section on Friday. “People date, break up and move on. Let’s try to do that 🙂.”
In a follow-up post, Pearce said that she was “super confused” to read that social media users thought her new man was Taylor.
“I haven’t posted him in over a year,” she replied. “[And] he left the band last summer :).”

After breaking up with Taylor, Pearce had been deep in her “single era.”
“I feel in every way — no matter if it’s the kind of music that I’m making or how I spend my days in my personal life — I’m choosing me,” Pearce exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “For the first time, I’m totally doing things 100 percent the way that I want to, and I’m in my single era and kind of loving it for the first time in my life.”
The country singer was previously married to fellow musician Michael Ray for eight months before they split in June 2020.
“It was awful. I mean, I’m being completely honest with you, that it was so embarrassing. It was so shameful,” Pearce told Us in 2021 of her divorce. “I felt like I had failed. I felt like … I would never find love again because I was divorced at so young, and [I] was just embarrassed.”
At the time, Pearce found solace and support in pal Kelsea Ballerini.
“[Kelsea] goes, ‘Do you realize that you could help put a face to something that people think is so bad? But yet, you’re showing them that they can get through it too,’” Pearce told Us at the time. “I remember just feeling, like, ‘Wow, OK. If I can get to a place where I feel like that,’ and I really do feel that way now. I have these connections with people in the middle of a pandemic where I feel closer to country music fans than ever.”
Pearce later dated Riley King for two years after her divorce was settled.
