Carole Radziwill opened up about being photographed on the arm of Harry Styles at a recent wedding.
During an appearance on the Tuesday, September 16, episode of the “Reality Checked” podcast, Radziwill, 62, spoke at length about the viral September 1 Instagram snap shared by beauty founder — and Radziwill’s “best friend” — Cassandra Grey following Charles Porch and Robert Denning’s wedding.
“I didn’t know he was behind me and Cassandra,” the Real Housewives of New York City alum told hosts Dorinda Medley and Kiki Monique. “Harry came over. He’s really actually such a lovely person and if I didn’t know he was going to be at the wedding … I don’t know if I would’ve recognized him. He was lovely and he said, ‘How can I help you?’ … I was like, ‘You know, take my arm.’ And he did. And it was really sweet.”
Radziwill’s recount was met with Medley, 60, concluding that the encounter with Styles, 31, was “a fairytale,” to which Radziwill agreed. “He was a prince,” she said.
As for the photo being shared online, and subsequently sparking speculation of a budding romance, Radziwill claimed she didn’t know Grey had uploaded the snap.
“Cassandra had posted when we were on the plane. I was sleeping and I didn’t realize she was posting the photos,” Radziwill said. “I wasn’t going to post anything. When we landed six hours later and I’m just like … half asleep, opening up my phone. My phone was blowing up. It was nuclear.”

Radziwill added that Styles did not respond to Grey’s tag in the photo, before noting that she’s still holding out hope. “Well, maybe he will. I mean, it was funny,” she said before admitting that the post lost its entertainment value before long.
“I mean, after two days of it, to be honest, I wanted it to all go away,” Radziwill said. “[But] I was kind of flattered that a lot of people were like, ‘Yeah, I ship that … I support it.’”
Radziwill’s version of events echoed the caption Grey had included on the post, which read, “A stranger to Carole and I, a handsome @harrystyles, seemingly out of nowhere graciously lent her his arm like Cinderella’s prince.”

The photo arrived less than one week after Styles was spotted walking arm-in-arm with Zoë Kravitz through the streets of Rome. Styles and Zoë, 36, have since spent further time together, with Styles allegedly stepping out for lunch with Zoë’s father, Lenny Kravitz, in New York City on September 6.
After Styles and Zoë were photographed holding hands before arriving at an Italian restaurant that day, the Daily Mail reported that Lenny, 61, joined the pair for a meal.
