Chad Lowe and wife Kim Painter reportedly honored the life of their daughter, Fiona, last weekend, following her death at age 13.

The Pretty Little Liars actor, 58, and his family held a private celebration of life for Fiona, where they were joined by family and close friends, People reported on Monday, October 26.

Lowe and Painter announced the tragic death of their daughter in a September 29 statement.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the couple said, describing the teen as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives,” the couple, who also share daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10, added.

“Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time,” the statement concluded. “If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.”

On October 1, the Los Angeles medical examiner confirmed that Fiona died by suicide. She was pronounced dead at 1:14 a.m. on September 29.

Lowe’s eldest daughter, Mabel, broke her silence on her sister’s death via Instagram on October 13, sharing throwback photos and videos of the siblings growing up together.

Lowe — the younger brother of Rob Lowe — previously gushed about being a proud girl dad during an appearance on the “Still Here” podcast in 2024.

“I’m a girl dad. It’s so interesting because [I’m] always wanting to have my own experiences and not live in the shadow or follow in the footsteps of somebody,” Lowe said. “I feel like having daughters is such an incredible privilege.”

“I look at the world from really their perspective, and I see the world and a lot of the injustices in the world from their perspective. It’s not all doom and gloom,” the Emmy winner said at the time. “Society is changing. I see how we’re really becoming conscious of the role of women. We may, who knows, have the first female president. [We’re] really empowering women and seeing how much women have to offer. I personally think that if women were in charge of nations, we’d be a lot more peaceful.”
