Cincinnati Bengals kicker Cade York and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader star Zoë Dale are engaged!
York, 24, popped the question on Saturday, March 1, during a visit to Flippen Park in Texas.
“Still in awe. A story only Jesus Himself could write!!” Dale, 22, gushed via Instagram, using “Equally Yorked,” “Future Yorks,” “Mr and Mrs” and “Fiancé” hashtags.
York, dressed in a dapper navy button-down and black slacks, got down on bended knee while he and Dale stood underneath a gazebo. Dale, for her part, wore a blue-and-white sundress and started tearing up when York presented her with the diamond ring.
Many of Dale’s DCC teammates celebrated the couple’s engagement in the Instagram comments.
“The joy in these photos. So happy for y’all! Congratulations 🤍,” McKenna Gehrke replied.
Charli Barby, for her part, shouted out Dale’s proposed new last name (if she decides to change it, of course). “ZOE YORK,” she wrote. “Oh my gosh, I could not be happier for you two!!!!! Congratulations x a million!!!!! These photos are EVERYTHING❤️❤️❤️.”

Sophia Laufer, Dani McGinnis, Allison Khong and more of the America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders stars were over the moon for Dale and York.
“My beauty Zo Zo!!!!! So happy for you my sis!!!” Kleine Powell chimed in. “The joy in these photos fills my heart!! 🤍 Congratulations to you both 🤍.”
Dale and York have been together since summer 2024 and made their social media debut as a couple that June.
While the two athletes are each other’s biggest cheerleaders, they nearly reached an impasse when York and the Bengals played the Cowboys in December 2024.
“My girlfriend is actually a cheerleader for the Cowboys,” York told CBS reporters on December 5. “She got baptized this Sunday, so it was awesome getting to do that and all of her teammates got to watch. Literally, the next day, [I got] the call I’m going to work out with the Bengals.”
He added, “[Our teams] are playing on Monday, and I was like, ‘Well, Zoë, I will see you at home no matter what.’ It’s pretty cool.”
After the Bengals defeated the Cowboys 27-20, Dale congratulated her man with a sweet sideline kiss.
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope,’” Dale wrote via Instagram at the time, citing Bible verse Romans 5:3. “’And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.’”
