Demi Lovato’s wedding to Jordan “Jutes” Lutes was “one of the best days of her life,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively.
Lovato, 32, “was radiant” for the big day, which took place in California on Sunday, May 25, the same insider added, praising the “classic and timeless” ceremony.
“Santa Barbara is one of her favorite places, so the estate was fitting for her big day,” the insider continued, referring to the Bellosguardo Estate, where she and Lutes, 34, tied the knot.
Lovato and Lutes wed in an “intimate” ceremony, in front of 135 family and friends. She looked “breathtaking” in a white Vivienne Westwood gown, while walking down the aisle.
“Demi described Jordan as her safe space and said he makes her feel more herself than she ever has, which had everyone tearing up,” the same source shared. “You could just feel how at peace and happy she was.”
Lovato continuously commented on how “surreal” her wedding day felt, the insider said. The actress’ family and friends “were there for her every step of the way.”
Lovato and Lutes both spoke about their special day for an interview published via Vogue on Tuesday, May 27.
“The ceremony was full of love,” she gushed. “It was as if each and every person at the wedding was a part of a big family all celebrating with us. Looking into each other’s eyes, all I was thinking was how lucky we are to spend this lifetime with each other.”
Lovato noted that she felt so “loved” throughout the day.
“All that life has brought me to this moment, and it was more than worth it,” she said. “It was so special being able to marry my best friend, my soulmate, and the love of my life.”

The singer added, “To find a love like this has completed my life in so many ways. We both put the work into ourselves first to be ready and open to share a life together, and I think that is a really important part of our relationship. We don’t complete each other as we did the work to complete ourselves first — and I think that’s a really important thing to do.”
After the wedding and reception, Lovato and Lutes’ guests were surprised with “an impromptu DJ set” by wedding guest Paris Hilton at the afterparty.
“Everyone was getting wild on the dance floor,” the same source told Us. “It turned into the most fun, high-energy dance party. Everyone was just so happy for them.”
