Step aside, Mickey Mouse.

A new study revealed America’s favorite amusement parks — and shockingly, Disney parks didn’t top the list.

Research by Nieuwe Casinos examined Google and Tripadvisor reviews made by theme park visitors to determine which ones received five stars across the board.

Florida remains the state where visitors have the most thrills — as Discovery Cove received a perfect 5-star rating from over 85% of its guests.

Located in Orlando, Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive resort that is home to several marine attractions. It’s also the sister park of SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica Orlando.

Next on the list of favorite amusement parks is Knoebels Amusement Resort in Pennsylvania. This resort has almost the same amount of positive reviews as Discover Cove, with 4.8 out of 5 stars on Google and 4.5 out of 5 on Tripadvisor.

Heading down south — Tennessee’s Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster has thousands of people raving about it, making it come in third place. This park is home to the second-longest downhill track in the US, taking 7-8 minutes to ride.

If the parks on this list sounded unfamiliar up until this point, you’ll most likely recognize the one with the fourth-place title: Universal Islands of Adventure in Florida.

Universal Islands of Adventure is known for its movie-themed attractions, such as Jurassic Park and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Rounding out the top five on this list is Disney California Adventure — not to be confused with Disneyland.

The difference between the two — while they’re located in the same state — is that California Adventure has more attractions geared towards adults versus Disneyland, which people go to for classic Disney fun.

While it didn’t make it into the top 10 favorite parks, New Jersey did appear on the list several times for Six Flags Great Adventure, Jenskinson’s Boardwalk, Morey’s Piers, and Nickelodeon Universe.

The top 10 highest-rated theme parks in America:

1. Discovery Cove, Florida

2. Knoebels Amusement Resort, Pennsylvania

3. Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster, Tennessee

4. Universal Islands of Adventure, Florida

5. Disney California Adventure, California

6. Magic Kingdom, Florida

7. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Florida

8. Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Florida

9. Universal Studios Florida, Florida

10. Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, Indiana

Disney might not have gotten the No. 1 spot because much of America thinks it’s become an unaffordable place to visit.

According to the Wall Street Journal, a two-day adventure for a family of four costs almost $3,000. This wild price doesn’t even include airfare or lodging.
