Influencer Dominika “Mina” Elischerova has died after being struck by a truck in Thailand. She was 23.
CNN Prima reported that the influencer was hit by a truck while in transit to her Muay Thai combat training on March 17. Elischerova was allegedly taken to a nearby hospital, with doctors not being able to resuscitate her.
Dominika’s mother, Petra Elischerova, said in an interview with the outlet that the influencer was scheduled to be in Thailand for one month. Fellow content creator Samir Margina reportedly went to the hospital with Dominika, contacting Petra while she received medical assistance.
“He didn’t leave her until her last breath,” Petra told CNN Prima, noting that she is trying to process her daughter’s death. “I keep thinking she’ll call me again. She’ll say, ‘Mom, I’m home.’ And then I realize she won’t call again.”
After news broke of Dominika’s death, the official Clash MMA account paid tribute to the content creator alongside a black-and-white photo of her smiling.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce that Dominika has sadly lost her final battle in the hospital…” the account wrote via Instagram on March 17, translated to English. “We are extremely sorry for this. The translated statement continued, “We hope you’re looking down on us and continue to watch over us. Your laugh, positive energy and fight will never be forgotten. We’re thinking of you. You always remain in our heart. 🖤. My condolences to the whole family.”
