‘Mozart in the Jungle’ (2014-2018)

Who knew the world of classical music could be so scandalous? This Amazon Prime Video series follows the New York Symphony Orchestra, which is thrown into chaos when their conductor, Thomas Pembridge (Malcolm McDowell,) retires and is replaced by classical music “bad boy” Rodrigo De Souza (Gael García Bernal).

Meanwhile, oboist Hailey Rutledge (Lola Kirke) is dying to play in the orchestra, but instead becomes Rodrigo’s assistant. She learns about the way he sees the world and comes to appreciate the music — and Rodrigo — in a whole new way. Mozart is a fun, sexy and beautiful tribute to the way music touches lives.
