Double Lives of Suburban Wives star Brianna Coppage is opening up about the difficult consequences she faced for exploring adult content.

In Us’ exclusive sneak peek of the Sunday, August 16, episode of TLC’s new hit reality show, Brianna, 31, looks back on the moment she lost her teaching job after she was discovered to be on OnlyFans.

“When I was put on leave at the school, I did call my mom,” Brianna recalls in the preview. “She said, ‘Well, it’s not going to be on the 5:00 news, is it?’ I said, ‘No, I don’t know why it would be.’ Famous last words because it was on the news for weeks.”

TLC later showcased some of the headlines that came out of Brianna’s scandal, including one reporter who was overheard stating, “Missouri woman is fired from her teaching job.”

“I think she approached the news from a place of love and understanding instead of a place of judgement,” Brianna says. “She often talks to me about loving people like Jesus would do.”

Ultimately, becoming an adult content creator quickly proved to have its pros and cons. While Brianna and her husband, Phillip, experienced financial success, many of her relationships were impacted.

“My mom was shocked at first,” she says. “I mean, it’s definitely hard seeing your child go through something like that, and everyone’s calling her, gossiping to her too. So she was kind of thrust into it as well.”

During an emotional scene, Brianna thanks her mom for always having her back.

“It’s not our place to judge,” Brianna’s mom shares. “I get why you’re doing it — to get things likely that you didn’t have — but it’s not a life that your mother would choose for their daughter, but you guys are adults, and I can’t make those decisions for you.”

In a separate confessional, Brianna’s mom couldn’t help but hold back tears when recalling how life has changed.
