Eli Manning’s son, Charlie, is dressing as his favorite football player for Halloween. His favorite quarterback, actually. His favorite New York Giants quarterback.

It’s not Eli.

The two-time Super Bowl champion, 44, shared a photo of his son via Instagram on Friday, October 31, showing Charlie, 7, smiling in his blue No. 6 Jaxson Dart jersey, complete with a replica of Dart’s famous “good luck” necklace.

Dart, 22, is a rookie for the Giants this year and has thrown for 984 yards with eight touchdowns in seven games.

“Charlie said he wanted to dress up as his favorite @nygiants quarterback ever for Halloween… guess he got his wish,” Eli wrote in the caption.

Eli spent his entire professional career with the Giants, from 2004 to 2019, making four Pro Bowls and earning a spot in the team’s Ring of Honor. During the Monday Night Football “Manningcast” on Monday, October 27, he admitted to his brother, Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, that Charlie’s snub “hurts a little bit.”

“The problem is, we got [the costume] last week and he wants to wear it to school every day,” Eli said. “No, no, no. Halloween costume. Just on Friday. You only get one day to wear it.”

“So, I think he was trying to outsmart us,” he continued. “That was his excuse to get a chain that he could wear full time.”

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo took a hit to his bank account before suffering a gnarly season-ending injury. Skattebo, 23, was fined $15,000 by the National Football League on Friday, October 24, two days before the rookie star dislocated his ankle in dramatic fashion against the Philadelphia Eagles.  The fine was handed down […]

Dart, 22, takes the field each week wearing the diamond-encrusted necklace, which belongs to his younger sister, as part of a routine he began in college at the University of Mississippi.

“So, my little sister had it, it was hers,” the rookie explained during a press conference in May. “It was before our bowl game and as I was leaving the house over Christmas — a little break before the bowl game — and just saw it in her room. And I was like, ‘You know what, I kind of like it.’”

He added, “So, I put it on and it’s kind of been good luck for me ever since.”

As for Charlie, he’s the youngest of four — and the only son — that Eli shares with his wife, Abby. The pair also have three daughters, Ava, 14, Lucy, 12 and Caroline, 10.

“They all torture him,” Eli told Us Weekly exclusively in 2024. “The boy, I mean, he doesn’t stand a chance. But they are sweet to him. My [7-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter] — they’re buddies. They’re tight and they get along well and they kind of get grouped together and brought along [with the oldest] or left out.”

And while Charlie is busy looking up to Dart, Eli’s daughters have tried to convince their dad to let them meet Taylor Swift through her fiancé, Travis Kelce.

“If we happen to be somewhere where Travis and Taylor are in the same town or city and [they’re] like, ‘You gotta text Travis and see if we can, like, just meet up. We’ll be quick. We just wanna see her. We don’t have to say hi,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘I’m not texting him [for you] to see Taylor. You [want to] see her, you gotta find a way, you gotta be creative. You gotta do it yourself.’”
