Erin Lichy is breaking down what fans can expect on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

“It’s gonna be good,” Erin, 38, exclusively told Us Weekly at The One Party by Uber at Pier 36 in NYC on Friday, June 12. “We have some new people that really mesh well with us. They bring some spice. I feel like I found some besties.”

The luxury real estate agent added that Carole Radziwill, who is returning for RHONY season 16 as a “friend of” after six seasons away, is “amazing” and “mixes well” with the cast.

“She brings a whole other element, and seeing her sort of overcome what happened with Love Story, while our show was being filmed, was really interesting,” Erin continued.

Carole, 62, was previously married to Anthony Radziwill, the late John F. Kennedy Jr.’s cousin and Jacqueline Kennedy‘s nephew, from 1994 until his death in 1999. While Anthony was featured in Ryan Murphy’s Love Story, a scripted series about JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, Carole was notably absent, despite having attended the famous couple’s wedding. Producers explained that they wanted to focus on Bessette’s relationship with her sister, Lauren.

Carole shared her reaction to Love Story via Substack in February amid the show’s premiere.

“No, I won’t be watching. But you should — watch it, and fall in love with them the way we all did back then. Just … don’t DM me ;),” she wrote at the time.

Erin told Us that Carole will get “a little messy” in the new season of RHONY, which began filming in March.

“We love it,” she added.

As for other cast members who will stir the pot, Erin said fans can expect drama from herself, as well as newcomer Daisy Toye.

“Daisy’s bringing it,” she shared. “I love her. Daisy and Carole are my girls, but we all really love each other.”

Bravo announced the cast of RHONY season 16 in March. In addition to Erin, who joined the show in season 14, Sai De Silva and Jessel Tank are set to return. Meanwhile, newcomers Daisy, Hailey Glassman and Erika Hammond are joining as full-time Housewives.

Real Housewives of New York City fans were shocked by the news that Carole Radziwill is returning to the show — and so was her former costar Dorinda Medley. “I’m surprised I knew nothing about it, and we’re quite close,” Dorinda, 61, said during the Monday, March 2, episode of her Reality Checked show on […]

Carole last appeared on RHONY from season 5 to season 10. She announced her exit in 2018, revealing plans to return to journalism and producing.

“I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind,” Carole said in her statement at the time, seemingly referring to her feuds with former costars Bethenny Frankel and Luann de Lesseps.

Carole’s return to RHONY also comes after a feud with Andy Cohen, which began when the journalist told the Watch What Happens Live host he was “full of s***” after he pointed out that she and Frankel, 55, had “bashed each other” in season 10. However, she and Cohen, 58, eventually squashed their beef.

“Andy and I’ve known each other a very long time, way before the Housewives,” she exclusively told Us at BravoCon 2025. “After I left, there was some animosity and some miscommunication. It’s a high-stress job. We did not speak for a long time. Publicly, we were sparring a little. I just thought, ‘Why are we doing this publicly?’”
