Sam Levinson and his wife, Ashley Lent Levinson, are among the donors supporting Eric Dane’s family by contributing to a GoFundMe set up after the actor’s death.
The Euphoria creator, 41, and his wife appear to have donated $27,000 to the campaign, according to the GoFundMe page.
The GoFundMe was set up on Friday, February 20, by Dane’s friends, with donations going to support the Grey’s Anatomy star’s daughters Billie, 15, and Georgia, 14. (Dane shared Billie and Georgia with his wife Rebecca Gayheart.)
As of Friday evening, the campaign has reached more than $117k of its $250k goal, with donations continuing to roll in after Dane Died on Thursday after a battle with ALS.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Eric Dane after a hard-fought battle with ALS, leaving behind his devoted wife, Rebecca, and his two teenage daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world,” the GoFundMe description reads.
The GoFundMe detailed Dane’s advocacy efforts after he was diagnosed with ALS. Dane first publicly shared he had been diagnosed with the disease in April 2025.
“Following his diagnosis, Eric became a passionate spokesperson for the ALS community, using his voice and platform to advocate for fellow patients and to push for greater awareness. Even as his own health declined, he remained deeply committed to helping others facing the same devastating disease. As his illness progressed far more quickly than anyone could have imagined, Eric’s friends have come together to create this GoFundMe to support his girls and their future needs,” the description continued.
It concluded, “Any contribution, no matter the size, will help provide stability during this incredibly difficult time and in the future for Eric’s wonderful daughters.”
