For those TV fans who want some new Thanksgiving content, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is just one of several shows delivering this year.

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage was the most memorable, since it was the first holiday episode for the hit CBS series. Picking up several months after George Sr.’s (Lance Barber) death, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage focused on Georgie’s (Montana Jordan) determination to get his mother involved in their Thanksgiving plans.

The special holiday episode even featured cameos from several Young Sheldon stars, as the series is the third in The Big Bang Theory universe. After the original series came to an end in 2019 after more than a decade on the air, The Big Bang Theory branched off with a prequel series starring Iain Armitage in the role of Sheldon when he was a child prodigy growing up in Texas.

With fans not ready to say goodbye to Georgie ahead of Young Sheldon‘s final season, the fan-favorite character scored a spinoff with Mandy (Emily Osment).

Meanwhile over at FX, Feud: Capote vs.The Swans followed the real-life drama between famed novelist Capote (Tom Hollander) and his close circle of New York’s most elite women, whom he nicknamed “The Swans.” The season is largely based on Laurence Leamer’s 2021 book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era, which tells the story of how Capote betrayed his friends by publishing their secrets. The TV version of the story also features a Thanksgiving episode.
