Okay, peaches, let’s dive in — it’s time for the return of our favorite alliteratively named show about a feisty mother-daughter duo since Gilmore Girls!
That’s right, Ginny & Georgia is coming back for season 3 very soon.

What Is ‘Ginny & Georgia’ About?
Ginny & Georgia follows the Millers — flighty and determined single mom Georgia (Brianne Howey), acerbic and intelligent eldest daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and sweet, dorky youngest son Austin (Diesel La Torraca). After years of moving from state to state to avoid Georgia’s checkered past, the family has finally put down roots in the small New England town of Wellsbury.
The first two seasons of Ginny & Georgia have seen Ginny wrestling with her biracial identity, a love triangle and a fight with her best friend, Max (Sara Waisglass). She’s also been learning more about her mother’s dark side and dealing with her own mental health issues, which include self-harm. Georgia, for her part, has had a blossoming romance with Wellsbury’s Mayor, Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), while hiding some of her deepest secrets from him.
She also has had to get some of her more ferocious mama bear tendencies in check after a confrontation with Austin’s school bully led to a chain reaction of negative consequences. The family also dealt with the return of Austin’s abusive father, Gil (Aaron Ashmore), as well as Ginny’s father, Zion (Nathan Mitchell).
The season 2 finale ended on a major cliffhanger — at Paul and Georgia’s wedding, Georgia was arrested for murder!
