Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, have reportedly welcomed a baby boy.
The supermodel, 44, recently gave birth to a son, according to People. The outlet further reported that Bündchen and Valente, 37, chose “River” for their child’s middle name. The first name has yet to be revealed.
The infant’s nature-themed middle name appeared to continue the trend she started with her eldest kids. Bündchen and ex-husband Tom Brady welcomed son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake in 2009 and 2012, respectively. While lake is evidently a body of water, rein is an alternate spelling of rain and the word for part of a horse’s saddle. (Bündchen is also stepmother to Brady’s son Jack from his past relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.)
Since Bündchen is an avid nature advocate, it makes the reported middle name especially fitting and meaningful.
“In every major city, they’re putting toxins in rivers, and we have to think about what we’re doing, how we are jeopardizing the very ecosystem that provides us life,” she told Elle in September 2022. “We are all connected.”
After Bündchen previously visited the Xingu River region in her native Brazil, she sought more ways to get involved.
“Most of [people] choose to focus on things that are negative, so if you are tuning into that frequency, you feel hopeless,” she added at the time. “My intention is to bring hope, to bring the possibilities, to show the beauty [and] to say, ‘Hey, we’re living in heaven, right here.’”
Neither Bündchen nor Valente have publicly confirmed their baby’s arrival — or its name.
Us Weekly confirmed in October 2024 that Bündchen and the jiu-jitsu instructor were expecting their first baby together, her third. They started dating in 2023, one year after Bündchen and Brady, 47, settled their divorce in October 2022.

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” Bündchen told The New York Times in March 2024. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
Months later, a source told Us that Bündchen was looking forward to welcoming another baby.
“Gisele and Joaquim have been living together for over a year now, and expanding their family is something they’re very excited about,” the insider exclusively told Us in October 2024. “Once [her] divorce was finalized, they moved in together very quickly and have been linked at the hip ever since. Gisele is so excited to be a mom again.”
