The Queen of Halloween is at it again. Days after teasing a fabulously freaky first look at what she would be dressing up as this year, Heidi Klum officially unveiled her 2026 costume.
Klum, 53, made her goriest transformation ever in a severed hand costume — with her eyes and mouth barely peeking out through the viscera — on Saturday, October 31, for her 25th annual Halloween party held in New York City. No gruesome details were spared in Klum’s recreation of her real hand — from blood-soaked tendons and bone sticking out, to some truly immaculately-painted red nails and a replica of her actual wedding ring.
The model truly upped the gore factor this year as she walked the runway covered in fake blood and surrounded by hazmat workers — some of whom unfortunately had some of the blood splattered on their protective suits.
Fans had already been trying to guess what the supermodel’s bizarre, creature-like costume could be after she shared an eerie sneak peek via Instagram.

“What’s my costume?🤪 One week to go…. 🔎👻🎃🧛🏻♀️😱🩸🦇🕸️ #HeidiHalloween,” she captioned a creepy close-up shot on Saturday, October 24, which appeared to show a grotesque getup with blue-gray wrinkled skin, big bulbous forms and what looked like fleshy, exposed tissue. Some details gave the design an almost alien or deep-sea monster appearance.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel is known for her jaw-dropping costumes that are famously head-to-toe custom creations, working with a professional special-effects team that does elaborate prosthetics including sculpted body pieces and ultra realistic makeup.
Last year, she slithered out and about as the terrifying snake-haired Medusa, with green scales, reptilian body paint, sharp fangs and a long tongue — a look that took 10 hours to complete.

Klum’s husband, Tom Kaulitz, was the perfect plus-one to her star-studded party. He got in on the mythology fun by transforming into a Greek soldier who had been turned to stone by Medusa’s captivating gaze.
When asked exactly “how ugly” her costume would be ahead of the event, Klum playfully told Entertainment Tonight, “From a scale of one to 10, it’s gonna be 11.”
She quipped, “It’s gonna be a lot of prosthetics and a lot of paint and spray and I’m gonna break out in so many hives and pimples tomorrow.”
In July, Klum gushed about her supportive husband, 37, and the strong bond they have built throughout their seven-year marriage.
“It’s beautiful to see your spouse doing what they love doing,” she exclusively told Us at the time. “A lot of the time, Tom will come and be on set and see when I’m doing something. We try to be there for each other and watch what the other one does, and it’s fun.”
