Jake Gyllenhaal turned the Emmy Awards 2025 into a rare date night with girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu.
Gyllenhaal, 44, wore a classic black suit while Cadieu, 28, wore a nude-colored dress with a cutout along the bust as they hit the red carpet. She jazzed up her look with a gold clutch purse and gold jewelry and sported a slicked-back hairstyle. The pair were all smiles as they posed happily alongside each other for the big night out.
The actor earned his first-ever Emmy nomination this year for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for Presumed Innocent.
“A horrific murder upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office when one of its own is suspected of the crime,” the show’s official synopsis reads.
The eight-episode legal thriller also stars Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, Kingston Rumi Southwick and Elizabeth Marvel. Camp, 61, and Sarsgaard, 54, earned nods for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, while Negga, 44, got a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Gyllenhaal celebrated the special night with Cadieu by his side, seven years after they were first romantically linked. He has opened up about his love life and hopes for the future in recent years.
“All I want is to be a good husband and a father. … That really is what I want,” Gyllenhaal told Howard Stern during an October 2021 visit to his radio show. “And now that I have fulfilled a lot of things in my career that I feel comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don’t know if I could have said that before.”

Gyllenhaal told Stern he would not divulge details about whether he planned to propose to Cadieu.
“There’s only so far I’ll go as, you know, in talking about it,” he said. “I love her so much. She’s such a good person.”
Gyllenhaal said that Cadieu preferred to stay out of the spotlight, adding, “And so that’s part of the reason why I just adore her. And not at all the main reason, but you know, one of them.”

He once again addressed the engagement topic while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter in June 2024.
“I’m not going to give you timing,” Gyllenhaal told the outlet. “I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time my career took precedence, but I’m at a point in my life where I realize that family really is the only thing that matters to me.”
Gyllenhaal revealed he and Cadieu enjoy cooking together and went on a memorable date to KCRW’s Good Food Pie Fest.
“We got tickets a month and a half early,” he said. “I was like, ‘Babe, we can go! We can go to the pie contest!’”
