Julian McMahon’s daughter, Madison McMahon, is sharing an emotional tribute to her dad on what would’ve been his 57th birthday.
“Dad, happy birthday,” Madison, 25, wrote over an image of her father with his arms wrapped around her shared via Instagram on Sunday, July 27. “There will never be enough words to describe how much I miss you. And somehow, even less that that capture how deeply I love you. All I know is that I’ll miss you and love you forever.”
Madison tagged her father’s Instagram handle and set the post to the tune of Ray Stevens’ “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.”
The Charmed and Nip/Tuck actor died on July 2 at age 56 following a private cancer battle. He shared Madison with his ex-wife, Brooke Burns.
McMahon’s widow Kelly McMahon (née Paniagua) broke the news of his death earlier this month in a statement to Deadline.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” Kelly said.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible,” the statement continued. “We ask for support during this time to allow our family to grieve in privacy. And we wish for all of those to whom Julian brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”
On Sunday, McMahon’s family shared a heartfelt message via his Instagram account encouraging fans to sign a petition to protect the Tasman Sea in his native Australia.
“Julian loved returning home to Australia for @thesurferfilm,” the account shared. “To be surrounded by wonderful creators, @lorcanfinnegan as well as Australian beaches and wildlife, brought him great joy.”
“Happy Birthday Julian 💛,” the post concluded.
In the comments section, many of McMahon’s friends and former costars wished the late actor a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday dear Julian. Sending peaceful energy your family and friends today. Thinking of your brilliant laugh. Donating in your name x,” wrote Charmed alum Rose McGowan.

Fellow Charmed star Alyssa Milano shared, “Happy Birthday, Pal. Thank you, Kelly. Love you all so much.”
Kelly Carlson, who played McMahon’s love interest, Kimber, on Nip/Tuck, reminisced about their time working together on the Ryan Murphy drama.
“Happy Birthday Julian 🕊️ Thank you for great memories and so many laughs. Not to mention the reason Kimber stayed on N/T. So grateful for all of it. 🙏,” Carlson wrote.
She continued, “Forever iconically immortalized with one of the best show openers ever! I know many will agree. We would always laugh at the time during the filming of the pilot when setting up our first shot together, I whispered ‘what does blocking mean’? The look on your face… then we both laughed 😂 And had a blast from then on navigating storylines that required much trust, a sense of humor and an understanding of the human condition. I followed your lead and instincts. Always worked. Christian is one of the best Characters in history. No question. Thank you my friend. 🙏🤍 K.”
