Princess Kate Middleton was, once again, a blonde bombshell during her latest public outing.

Kate, 43, attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup matchup between England and Australia on Saturday, September 6, at the Brighton & Hove Albion Stadium.

The Princess of Wales wore her hair in a half-up-half-down style, featuring bouncy waves. She also sported a black blazer with a ruffled white blouse underneath and delicate gold hoop earrings.

Kate is the patron of the Rugby Football Union, stepping out to support her home country’s team. Kate’s husband, Prince William, attended Wales’ Saturday match against Fiji, dressed in a smart black suit. (William, as the Prince of Wales, is the patron of the country’s rugby organization.)

“In Exeter today supporting @welshrugbyunion in the Women’s Rugby World Cup against Fiji,” a post on the couple’s joint Instagram Story read.

As for Kate, she debuted her lightened locks during a family church service last month. She appeared to add honey-colored highlights to her signature dark waves while driving to a church near Balmoral Castle in Scotland with William, 43, and their three kids.

Royal watchers got a closer look at Kate’s new ‘do when she and William made a joint appearance at London’s National History Museum on Thursday, September 4. Kate wore her blonde locks in loose waves that complemented her white button-down and tweed blazer.

King Charles III’s former butler Grant Harrold later told Us Weekly that Kate “looks beautiful” amid her hair transformation.

“Over the years, she didn’t reinvent herself, she does little changes,” Harrold exclusively told Us in an interview published on Friday, September 5. “She’s beautiful. She’s been through a real s*** time. Why not enjoy? She’s not afraid of doing that.”

Kate announced in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and subsequently underwent chemotherapy treatment. Kate revealed in January that she is in remission and has since steadily returned to her public-facing royal duties.

“She’s been through a really bad time,” Harrold added. “She’s trying to feel good, and she’s trying to make herself look beautiful.”
