Kate Middleton is proving once again that the most meaningful accessories have a personal touch.
The freshly blonde Princess of Wales, 43, was spotted wearing a necklace with a sweet nod to her kids, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, who just returned to school on Wednesday, September 3.
Middleton was beaming in her Daniella Draper Gold Fixed Alphabet necklace — which costs around $495 prior to customizations — featuring G, C, and L initial charms on Thursday, September 4. Per the website, the piece “is designed to be playful yet classic and is made using recycled solid 9ct yellow gold.”
The children’s initials are represented in their birth order with George first on July 22, 2013, followed by Charlotte on May 2, 2015, and Louis on April 23, 2018. She previously wore the item in April with her Gold Midnight Moon necklace, also by the same jewelry designer.

She donned the sentimental necklace again while joining husband Prince William as the couple visited the renovated gardens at the National History Museum in London.
Middleton’s outing came one day after her children returned to Lambrook School, near their royal family home in Windsor, for the new school term.
Royal expert Jennie Bond previously spoke to The Sun about how Middleton is just like other moms, sharing her thoughts when the kids went back to school in September after break.
“I think it’s probably with a mixture of sadness that they won’t be still enjoying themselves in the freedom of the holidays, but maybe just [Kate] might feel a measure of relief that these school holidays are finally over, and she can do the school run and perhaps get back into bed for a few hours afterward,” the former BBC royal correspondent said.
These days, Kate is keeping up with her royal engagements as well as family life after her brave battle with an undisclosed form of cancer. The beloved Princess of Wales announced she was in remission in January.
“Kate’s outlook has changed, and her priorities have shifted,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in August. “[She’s] emphasizing her family and her well-being over [intense] duties.”
A second source noted, “While [Kate and William] take their responsibilities very seriously, they are not afraid to say no when necessary.”
