Katy Perry appears to be having fun during the Australian leg of her Lifetimes Tour amid her recent breakup from ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom.
“Mood: Quokka,” Perry, 40, wrote via Instagram on Friday, June 27, sharing photos of herself with the endangered animal in an upload tagged from Western Australia’s Rottnest Island.
In other snaps in the carousel, Perry frolicked on a beach, went on a bike ride and picked up a quokka-themed chocolate treat from a local grocery store. She also brought daughter Daisy Dove, 4, along for the getaway, sharing a rare photo of her little one adorably helping pilot a boat during a yacht trip.
Daisy, dressed in a persimmon-colored cardigan and matching striped pants, had both hands on the steering wheel while Perry snapped a pic from behind.
Perry shares her only child with Bloom, who was recently spotted in Venice ahead of Jeff Bezos’ lavish wedding to fiancée Lauren Sánchez. The “Hot N Cold” singer, for her part, recently spent time with Sánchez, 55, when they were both part of the same all-female Blue Origin space flight in April.
“We miss you, Katy ❤️,” Sánchez commented on Perry’s Friday post.
Us Weekly broke the news earlier this week that Perry and Bloom had called it quits after a decade together, calling off their engagement.
“Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source exclusively told Us. “It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

Neither Perry, who was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, nor Bloom, 48, has publicly addressed the breakup. A second insider, however, told Us that the now-exes are working to amicably raise Daisy.
“They are still very much in touch and coparenting Daisy together,” the second source said. “Orlando brought Daisy to meet Katy on tour before heading to the Bezos’ wedding. It’s not messy between them. They aren’t making drastic changes for Daisy’s sake.”
According to the insider, Perry and Bloom plan to prioritize “stability and consistency” for their kids. (Bloom also shares son Flynn, 14, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.)
Perry and Bloom were first linked in January 2016 but broke up in March 2017. They later rekindled their romance the next year, and Bloom proposed in February 2019.
“We weren’t really in it from day one,” Perry previously said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in September 2024. “He was, in a way, because he had just done a time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond.’”
