Kim Kardashian stepped out in style at Paris Fashion Week — with a brand new ‘do!
Kardashian, 44, attended the Maison Margiela Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 presentation on Saturday, October 4, wearing a grey trench coat and a black ribbon choker necklace.
The Skims mogul’s real pièce de résistance, however, was her glam. Kardashian’s usually long locks were styled into a short pixie cut with slightly wispy bangs.
“Paris Pixie,” Kardashian wrote via Instagram, sharing alternative images of her look, which also included a smoky eye and a blush-colored lip.
Kardashian attended the Margiela catwalk show with sister Kylie Jenner, who showed off her curves in a white Margiela bodysuit made completely out of paper with matching pumps and an oversized black clutch. Jenner, 28, wore her signature jet-black tresses in long waves.
For Kardashian, Saturday’s PFW show was a rare occasion for her to crop her locks even shorter than bob-length.
“Love this new chop on Kim, we got 7 inches off her hair,” hairstylist Chris Appleton previously said in a February social media video of the reality TV star’s last cut. “No, it’s not a wig before [you] start. To style, we opt for an iconic deep side part — Tom Ford Gucci ’96 inspired.”

Of course, Kardashian is no stranger to cutting her hair and trying something new.
“I wish I did it sooner actually,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in 2015 of her then-new bob that hit her shoulders. “I didn’t know I would like it this much. I was going to wait and cut it for Fashion Week in Paris, and then it was the Grammys, and I was just like, ‘You know what, why not a fun, new look for the Grammys?’ I’ve had long hair my whole life.’”
At the time, Kardashian gushed about the freedom that came with shorter hair.
“It’s not really about the hairstyle as much as it is,” Kardashian told Us. “Now, I can make it more about the outfit. Before I felt like I had a lot of hair, it’s just easier.”
Kardashian’s new pixie has already had fans drawing comparisons to her mother, Kris Jenner, whose trademark hairstyle is quite similar.
“I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” Kris, 69, told Vogue in an August interview of her beauty journey. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully— meaning you don’t want to do anything — then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”

The matriarch added, “I just have to try my best to do what I can to feel good and healthy. My blessing is my family. If I can be a part of their lives in the best way possible, then I’m thrilled.”
In addition to slaying her usual hair and makeup, Kris also recently underwent a facelift and had the full support of her children. Kris shared Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob with late ex-husband Robert Kardashian, as well as daughters Kendall and Kylie with former spouse Caitlyn Jenner.
