Luxury hotel perks have long been a bit of a complex game.

You’ve traditionally had to have to be a member of the right loyalty scheme, hold a certain credit card or jump through all numbers of hoops.

Now, though, a new booking platform is promising to make VIP treatment much easier to access. Travel Habit is launching with access to more than 2,300 luxury hotels, bundling perks including room upgrades, breakfast, hotel credits and late check-outs into a single membership.

The platform will unite some of the world’s best and strongest hospitality status memberships and VIP travel networks.

The likes of Virtuoso, Ritz Carlton STARS, Rosewood Elite, Marriott STARS & Luminous, Four Seasons Preferred, Hyatt Privé, Buckingham and Lloyd’s will be assembled into a single, automated booking platform.

The idea is to make life easier for guests who previously spent their time chasing perks from room upgrades to priority check-in.

The platform will do away with the necessity to be loyal to an individual hotel group, pay high annual fees on credit cards, or navigate multiple high-end VIP travel advisors.

What are the benefits?

Travel Habit members will benefit from a streamlined process and, the company says, early members are already receiving at least $7,000 (€6,055) in privileges each year, across a worldwide collection of some 2,300 luxury hotels and resorts.

The platform has been tested for the last two years on elite business and luxury travellers to ensure clients get the best value possible.

“So many clients told me their elite credit card promised upgrades they rarely actually received,” Amanda Archer, founder and CEO of Travel Habit, said.

“Our mission is to provide instant VIP access for all of our members, elevating every hotel and resort stay with world-class service and exclusive benefits members can count on,” she added.

Members keen to take advantage of the service will be able to access perks including complimentary breakfast for two, welcome notes, the highest priority room upgrades – subject to availability upon check-in – and early check-in and late check-out privileges, whenever it’s available.
