Riley Burruss and Ariana Biermann won’t let any lasting Atlanta drama bleed into New York City.

During the Tuesday, July 8, episode of Next Gen NYC, both Ariana, 23, and Riley, 22, addressed the longstanding feud revolving around their moms Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss, respectively.

“Riley’s mom and my mom used to be best friends,” Ariana shared in a confessional interview. “Me and Riley spent so many years together and family vacations. My mom and her mom don’t have a relationship anymore.”

As childhood photos of the pair began to fill the screen, Riley admitted that she still isn’t exactly sure what the grown-ups’ original fight — or fights — was actually about.

“I genuinely don’t know what our moms beefed about,” she explained. “My mom told me it’s not my business.”

Ariana added, “Both of our parents respect our friendship and are happy that we’re friends.”

Throughout the first season of Next Gen NYC, cameras have rolled as Ariana and Riley adjust to life in the Big Apple with a new group of friends, including Gia Giudice, Brooks Marks and Ava Dash.

In a recent episode, Ariana was able to meet up with Riley and Kandi, 49. In Tuesday’s show, Riley had the opportunity to have dinner with Ariana and Kim, 47.

“I am bringing you to see my best friend Riley in New York,” Ariana shared with her mom before enjoying an Italian meal. “I don’t even know if I told you but I saw Kandi. … I’m not bringing you to see Kandi.”

Kim replied, “If you think you’re bringing Kandi to dinner, you got another thing coming. She took me to court.”

A flashback scene from a Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show began to play as host Andy Cohen discussed the drama surrounding the success of “Tardy for the Party.”

While Kim sang the song, Kandi wrote the track and argued that she deserved some of the revenue from the single. Kim eventually got the lawsuit dismissed, per The Wrap.

Although the Real Housewives of Atlanta alums show no signs of repairing their broken friendship, Ariana and Riley may have other ideas.

“We want to ‘parent trap’ them, is what we keep on saying, and make them rekindle [their] friendship,” Ariana told People in June. “We’re not going to tell them and we’re just going to show up and everyone’s going to come in. Everybody’s going to work it out.”
