Patrick Mahomes and his family pulled off an epic surprise for mom Randi Mahomes — a brand-new house!
“Home is where the heart is — and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family @patrickmahomes @brittanylynne @jacksonmahomes and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing,” Randi, 53, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, March 29. “Being a Mom and Grandi is the greatest joy of my life, and I’m so thankful for the love that surrounds me every day.”
She added, “Here’s to new memories, laughter, and love in this beautiful new home! ❤️.”
Resharing the post via her Instagram Stories, Randi called her children’s gift the “surprise of my life.”
Randi shares sons Patrick, 29, and Jackson, 24, with ex-husband Pat Mahomes Sr. She is also mom to daughter Mia, 14, with a different partner.

The Mahomes family has been making headlines ever since Patrick was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017 as a quarterback. Throughout his NFL tenure, Patrick has also had the support of wife Brittany Mahomes.
Patrick and Brittany, 29, have been together since high school and got married in 2022. They are the proud parents of daughters Sterling, 4, and Golden, 2 months, as well as son Bronze, 2.
Randi, for her part, uses “Grandi” as her grandparent nickname.
“Grandi, that’s what she calls herself,” Patrick joked of his mother’s moniker during a January press conference following a playoff win. “Our kids love her and she’s been an instrumental part of my entire life in taking me to those baseball games. … Those are the things that you’ll forever remember. She’s here today, and I’m sure will be ready to take care of those grandkids tonight.”
At the time, Patrick gushed that it’s “special” having his whole family come to his NFL games.
“I just try to cherish that. I still remember moments from the World Series my dad played when I was 5 years old,” Patrick recalled. So, these are moments I’ll have with my family for the rest of my life. It’s a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while.”
He continued, “It’s cool that I’m able to play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family.”
Brittany and Randi also attended the 2025 Super Bowl last month, where Patrick’s Chiefs played the Philadelphia Eagles. The Kansas City team, however, lost 40-22.
