Pregnant Cardi B ushered in her 33rd birthday in an incredible floor-length sheer gown.
The “Money” rapper took to Instagram on Sunday, October 12, one day after her birthday, to share photos of herself wearing a crimson dress with cutouts that perfectly hugged her baby bump.
Cardi, who shares three children with ex-husband Offset and is currently expecting her fourth with NFL star Stefon Diggs, reflected on her birthday celebrations within the post’s caption. (Cardi shares daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 13 months, as well as son Wave, 4, with Offset.)
“Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes! Everyone normally makes their new year resolution on Jan 1st but I made mine last night! Im feeling lucky but most of all blessed,” she wrote. “Year 32 was a year I’ll never forget!”
The carousel of six snaps captured Cardi, who announced her pregnancy during an interview on CBS Mornings last month, standing in front of a wall of pink balloons decorated with a neon-lit “Happy Birthday” sign and flanked by bouquets of flowers.
The post also included a photo of Cardi holding her belly at the foot of a staircase, and another that showed her snapping a selfie while seated in a plush white chair. Cardi wore her dark locks long and straight and completed her look with a collection of chunky silver bracelets and rings.
Her Instagram caption also discussed her hopes for the coming year. “33 is the Jesus year and I must say I never felt so covered and so protected by the man above himself,” she wrote. “He never fails to remind me that I’m chosen and that I’m anointed and that’s the best gift I could ever ask for. Thank you all for supporting me and loving me! I love yall back.”
The post was shared less than one week after Offset, also 33, spoke publicly about his regrets during his marriage to Cardi during an interview with Keke Palmer on the Tuesday, October 7, episode of her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast. (Cardi filed to divorce Offset in July 2024 after six years of marriage, and the pair are yet to finalize it.)
“I should have respected her way more. I made bad decisions, like stepping out. Gotta take that on the chin,” Offset said during the interview. “When she left, I had to take that on the chin … We got so much, our kids, to live for. I was being selfish, and I can say that as a man.”
Cardi, who welcomed Blossom two months after she filed to divorce Offset, also spoke about the pair’s split on the “On Purpose” podcast one day prior to her ex’s public comments. “I felt the love dying from my end — from my end, from his end,” Cardi said on the Monday, October 6, podcast. “I was very lonely because I chose to be lonely.”
Cardi and Diggs were first linked in July 2024. E! News reported at the time that the pair were sighted at a club together before Cardi denied that they were dating. She and Diggs, who plays for the New England Patriots, confirmed their relationship via Instagram almost one year later in June.
Cardi got candid about the relationship during an interview with Billboard in September, telling the outlet that it was “tough hiding” another public romance. “It is what it is,” she said at the time. “It’s tough dating in your 30s too, but I like him. I love him today.”
