A woman says a psychic predicted her future husband down to his shoe size, height, and “kindness” – before she married him five years later.
Following a string of failed relationships, Anya Clements, 24, met with a psychic in July 2019 to discuss her love life.
Coming from a family of tarot and tea leaf readers, the 24-year-old frequently visited psychics when she wanted to feel more positive about her future.
In one reading, the psychic predicted Anya’s university, course, future career – even her future husband – down to every last detail, including his appearance and personality.
Every prediction came true – and one month later, she reconnected with an old friend who matched the description “perfectly.”
Anya’s future husband was predicted to have big feet, a tall stature, and would be older than her – and her actual husband has size 10 feet, is 5ft 11in, and is five years older than her.
The pair tied the knot on September 21, 2024 – exactly five years after getting together officially – and are now happily married.
Anya, an aesthetics nurse, from Cardiff, south Wales, said: “The psychic said I was going to be really happy – it’s scary how much she predicted and it’s all come true.
“My husband doesn’t really believe in it – but I’ve been to around 10 psychics in my lifetime.
“After the psychic, in the same session, predicted my uni – I thought I’d meet my husband there.
“I didn’t expect him to be a family friend living in my small town – but that’s what they say about soulmates.”
In July 2019, Anya visited a psychic – in need of some reassurance after “being with some guys in the past who weren’t very nice.”
She made a point not to reveal anything about herself to the tarot and tea leaf reader – not even her name.
Throughout the session, the psychic started predicting elements of Anya’s future – letting her know she’d enrol at the University of Birmingham, on a nursing course, and that she’d start a job in the NHS but leave to pursue other things.
Anya then asked about her future husband, and the psychic detailed his physical description down to his shoe size and height, as well as his job and his personality traits.
The future husband’s traits would include: A tall stature, big feet, and muscles.
He would also be incredibly kind – and older than her.
“This psychic had no idea how old I was, and she accurately predicted I’d be going to Birmingham to study nursing – before I even got accepted,” Anya said.
“I was told, as soon as I met my husband, I’d know I wanted to marry him.
“He’s seven inches taller than me, has size 10 feet, and he worships the ground I walk on.
“Linking the two together, I started to think I’d meet my husband at uni.”
Anya was brought up in a community in which “everyone knows everyone,” and she already knew her now-husband platonically.
While the pair “liked” each other, Anya deliberately opted not to pursue things, thinking she’d meet her prophetic husband in Birmingham.
She didn’t realize he matched the psychic’s physical description – because she was distracted by uni.
But two months later, just as she was leaving for Birmingham, Anya says something “literally just clicked into place” in her head – and she reached out to him, asking him out.
“September 21, 2019 – we decided there was something there to fulfil,” she said.
In February 2024, the pair got engaged – although Anya’s now-husband says he’d been holding onto the ring for two years.
Another psychic had accurately predicted the pair’s engagement date eight months prior, in June 2023.
The couple wed on September 21, 2024, and a video Anya filmed straight after her reading, recalling her future husband’s traits and looks, was played to guests during the reception.
She said: “I’m just really grateful with how it’s all turned out.
“Everyone was really, really shocked at the wedding – because it’s just all come true.
“It just gives me a little hope – it’s all really exciting.”
